Re: A Need to vent!
[QUOTE=GeoFisher;483223]So you're going to SCREW a business be damned if it was marked wrong.
If you KNOW the price is wrong and the you demand they sell it for that price.......well.
I personally don't need the money that bad. This surprises me a little bug, because you usually take the "moral" high ground on this type of stuff. This doesn't sound like high ground.

I do take the moral high road and ALL store managers know, or should know, the law without having to be told. I did not screw the store, the store screwed itself. I resent your inference that I "demanded" something I wasn't entitled to or did something dishonest. I don't make demands or a public spectacle of myself; there is a place for shoppers to go for sensible customer discussions.

Re: A Need to vent!
I wouldn't be offended about the mistake on the price, I'd be let down and feel like I missed an opportunity for a great deal.
What would have pushed me to pursue this, was the attitude and thinly veiled accusations of the store folks.
Okay....just me here. But when I get treated that way at a store, I don't bogart or avoid the store. If I need something they got, I go right back, and seek out the same folks that were rude to me before for round two, or three or four. Firm, not rude to them, I just won't let them win, or chase me off. My rule of thumb with store folks is, if you treat me rude, I'm going to be back to make your day miserable again and again until you find away to calm things down. Not stalking, just if it's in the store, and I need it, I'm coming to look and I do plan on giving the store folks another chance to get it right.
Like a Chinchilla, sometimes you just got to give the anmimal the opportunity to get themselves upset for it to become uncomfortable enough for them to decide to stop bringing that upon themselves.
Now you know why my wife lovvvvvvesssss me so much ;)
