I was applaud recently when I found the launch fees at Herrington Lake had risen from $5 to $10 for some of the worst ramps in the state. I realize I have the option to fish someplace besides Herrington, but what about the fisherman who doesn't have the resources pay these higher fees. Since we can't negotiate the fees with these dock oweners, I encourage eveyone paying these fees to ask the person collecting your $10 for a cash registar receipt.
I have also heard (and seen) the new blacktop ramp in between Cane Run and the Dam is going to be a free launch. Does anyone have any information on this ramp?
you are so right about the launch fee ten dollars does **** go to the one at the Herrington marina it really ***** but also my girl friend has a house boat there i can launch fro free but to park my bass boat behind her house boat for the weekend we had to paid 10 a day are about 350 for the year . when she already paid for the year for slip . and if you fish any of the state lakes the launch fee is only 3 bucks to launch

As far as I know, there are no free (public) ramps on Herrington, since all the land around the lake is privately owned. I do think there are some ramps that charge less than $10 ... but, don't know for sure or which ones they might be.

Are you all sure that Pandora isn't only $5? I was there this spring and it seems like that's all we had to pay but I'm not 100% sure. Do any of you guys on here like to bass fish that lake? Any information on that lake would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, drew
