Tim, I'm not sure if he was referring to the ACC and Big East of the past, or the present...Neither have been a really strong conference in the past, but this year the Big East is really really bad as a whole...UL will lose a game or two they shouldn't, but I don't think my Cats will be one of them...UL-8-4 and wins the Big East UK 4-8 and last in the SEC East...again
UL-45
UK-13 (if they're lucky enough to find the end zone)

You may be right, but the Big East gets a bad rap at times. To be honest, there are two power football conferences and sometimes a third. Usually the third is the Pac 12 (10). The rest of the time, it is the Big 12 and the SEC and everybody else. Keep in mind that this year that West Virginia is the only team gone for this season. Syracuse and Pitt leave after this season, but they will be replaced by far better teams. Since Louisville joined the conference neither of those teams has won a conference title and are not adding anything to the conference football-wise. Next season, Boise St. and Houston join which have a far better tradition and record of recent success than either of those teams.
