Same here. Spent most of my years in Florida and summers in Georgia so I been exposed to UGA and Gator ball the most. I like to see UK win but really don't care. Actually have more interest in UL because of Charlie Strong and his Gator accomplishments.
What I would love to see one day is Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes play against an SEC team for the championship and get smoked but with the new format who knows??
Were not talking about the past, but the Big East has been awful for the past two years now and it looks even worse this year. Not to mention U of L dodged the bullet by not having to play either Boise State or Houston this year. I feel as long as U of L is in the Big East, they'll continue to only be able to recruit 3 Star player's, some 4's and an occasional 5 Star player.. But get them outta the Big East and into a better Conference, then much better recruits will be recruited, until then...U of L is going to be a mediocre team at best.
Stop thinking of the past and think about now and the future......
Go Longhorns baby........Yes I root for Texas, not this Uk team you mentioned....
Military brat here and I guess if someone roots against U of L , then they supposedly must be a UK fan.....
#1 the Big East is better than the ACC in the last two seasons that you describe as awful and about on par with the Big 10. Look at the Bowl records and head-to-head matchups and you will see.
As for recruiting Louisville had back-to-back top 25 recruiting classes and several 4 and 5 star recruits and U.S. Army All-Americans. They are going in to Florida and getting recruits over Miami and Florida St. I agree if they join the Big 12 it will only get better, but there recruiting classes are very good.
F-I-L, I am not going to act like Louisville has a deep college football team, but recent success (minus the dismal Kragthorpe years) they have fielded teams that could play with anyone in the country. The Orange Bowl Team could have won either the SEC or the Big 10 that season. The team they are putting together for 2013 will be as good or better than that team.

It's not all his fault, but he's not a very good coach, either. UK apparently has a very complex playbook, but then turns around and plays incredibly conservative football. I've been to all the home games the last several years, but I haven't bought tickets this year. I'm going to go to games if I can find free tickets. If I see him punting inside the 50, calling draw plays on 3rd and long again, etc. I'm not even going to bother with free tickets. I'll just stay out in the parking lot and tailgate.

Heck no!! I like the tailgating and seeing some good teams come through here. Hopefully I'll see Georgia and South Carolina this year! Already got to see the Gators and Tennesee play here.

lol, so you want to split hairs on how who beat who..Well our record since the 41-10 beat down as you say...is 88-27 and a National Championship in 2005....
Came back to beat you 38-16 the next year in 2004 and we don't play Harry's School for the Blind as our OOC games either, unlike your Cards who actually lose games to the likes of Marshall, FIU and the sort.
Want to talk about a real team..then let's talk Longhorn Football baby...You don't have a chance at getting into the Big 12, so stop dreaming it'll happen....The Big 12 doesn't take City College's for our Conference......

Lighten up Newbie, who gives a rat **** about your Longhorns anyway, we're just having some fun. We'll see about the Big 12, let's see our school was the number one grossing athletic department in all of D1 last year and since we all know money drives the bus, hmmm, I'd say they have a real good shot at getting in. Then we'll watch them go head to head and find out. We already own you in basketball and football is up and coming...

No, instead you take the trashiest fan base in America. I hope when the foghorns go to Morgantown you also make the trip. It is pure pleasure having your life threatened, getting batteries thrown at you etc. I would say that when you have the likes of West Virginia you must be good.
Please enlighten me on how Good K-State is? What about Iowa St.? Kansas? LOL don't act like you guys play some powerhouse every week.
