One thing we should NOT do is play politics with this! Reagan and Bush I were both running for president when Jimmy Carter ordered the ill-fated helicopter rescue attempt on the hostages in Iran. Both took the high road, and stood with the President. For them, "partisanship ended at the water's edge," as it should. Not so the current candidate, which I find quite disgusting. Some of you want to blame Obama, well guess what: Romney's response is going to cost himself votes.
The problem I see here is Carter didn't ass kiss every muslim country out there. He tried diplomacy, but I didn't see him bowing and apologizing for every supposedly misdeed perpetrated by America.
Obama would apologize to black people for his momma being white if he thought he'd get more votes for it.
I'm SICK AND TIRED of the Obama apologize fest......
Later,
Geo

I pitty the Romney family though...trying to remove that horrid stench of an odor from the Whitehouse carpets, lol..
don't feel to sorry for the Romney's, I don't think Mitt will be doing any camping, in the big house.

Of course he's not losing any you guys' votes, but that's not my point. In case you missed it, Romney is currently 5 or 6 six percent behind in the polls right now (that's Fox and Gallup, respectively), meaning he needs to win over some people who are undecided. I think his response to this crisis did just the opposite.
