[QUOTE=GeoFisher;504601]It is a **** shame that you and most of the TARDS out there believe that.........Keep believing it, because you and I BOTH know the reason is because of Obama.
Idiots that voted for him are not smart enough to recognize their stupidity.
Yea, I'm on a roll........I'm TIRED of paying for everyone else, and quite frankly, I'm DONE doing it.

Idiot Republicans are not smart enough to see they LOST the election, and it's time to COMPROMISE. You wanna say "You and I both know it's because of Obama," well guess what, MORE THAN HALF THE COUNTRY DISAGREES.
The Republican party's intransigence on allowing a single tax increase on ANYBODY is the biggest part of what got us here, whether you have the objectivity to admit that or not. When the Republicans say, "OK, we lost the election. We are not in the position of power we had hoped we would be. You can have your precious tax increase on those making >250k/year" and then the Democrats refuse to compromise on spending cuts, THEN you can blame Obama. Until then, the blame lies squarely on the Republicans.

[QUOTE=GeoFisher;504599]It IS the end of the year..............
AND without something passed......actually it doesn't matter even now, since payroll systems cannot be updated fast enough.
Anyone making over 50k TOGETHER as a married family with 4 will pay 2 thousand more.
Anyone making over 100k TOGETHER as a married family with 4 will pay 3 or 4 thousand more.

The way I understand it is that the "fiscal cliff' is describing the tax rate for the upcoming year (2013). This is the end of 2012, and the tax rates are already set for this year.

Ole Mitch and John are going to lead the repubs right out of the house for 2014! Then big O gets to do what he wants. You guys had better register independent if you ever hope to elect another consertative. BAHAWAA

there are two parts........the tax holiday passed by obama expires 12/12, so if that is not renewed, and so far it has not been, then 2.4% in additional income taxes.......PAID by the employee will start coming due your first paycheck in january.
The second part deals with the bush tax cuts. personally, roll those completely back to clinton era rates...for EVERYONE.....

Lower my income........INVEST more...show less net income, drop myself into a lower bracket.
And let me be CLEAR........the things promised you while YOU were working were promised and should be met. Those things promised today should NOT be promised, since they cannot be met.
I have many family members who are retired UAW, and are drawing SSI. Promises made, should be promises kept....but stop making those promises, because they can no longer be kept.
Have a good day.

Good afternoon Mr. Fisher, hope you and yours had a good holiday... Was just wondering if you were advocating doing away with social security and if so, what do you envision our country might look like if folks who have health problems or because of accidents can't continue to earn their livelihood?... It seems to me one of the reasons we have a great country is because we have compassion for the less fortunate.

tards
Maybe its because a party insists on running tards. Geo, with all your political acumen, using simple terms, explain to us tards where did we go wrong?
-
I'm wondering why nobody is arguing about federal government spending.
Idiots? I'll tell you what is idiotic. Raising taxes on ANYONE before the government gets spending under control.
The Democrats have not passed a budget in 3 years, can any of you geniuses explain that one for me?
Yes, the Dems won the presidential election. You can stop pounding your chests now, most of us have heard about it already.
Since Obama won the presidential election are we supposed to just blindly follow the left wing press and ignore his trillions of dollars in budget deficits? How high should our national debt go before we're allowed to say anything? 20 trillion? 30? How high before his supporters get their heads out of their asses and say something? 50 trillion? 60?

Good afternoon Mr. Horse... We are always hearing "get spending under control", I suspect that would be a good idea but tell us where you would make the cuts to "get the spending under control".
