here's a good one, you guys can mess with your kids with. I don't know how it works but it does.
think of a number, any number.
now double it.
now add the number 6 to it.
now divide it by half.
now take away the number you started with.
you end up with the number 3
the answer is 3

here is another good one, it isn't real hard. but will make you think a little.
a guy gives you 2 buckets, a 5 gallon bucket and a 3 gallon bucket.
and tells you go get me exactly 4 gallon of water, and bring it to me in this 5 gallon bucket.
how do you get the exact amount, using only the 2 buckets given to you.
