I drove around Laurel yesterday and all the ramps are closed.
How are they closing these ramps( barrels, signs or just signs)? I have a annual pass, they cant get me for not paying.
I was at Nolin yesterday and was told by the local sheriff that the only ramp that would be open after Sunday 10/6 would be the state park ramp.
Friend told be he just drove by Green River below the dam and the gates were locked.
Kendell campground behind the dam is closed. We had reservations this week. I would assume that the boatramp there is closed as well.
The boat ramp at Kendal as well as Halcombs landing were open this afternoon.
Silly question but does the department of fish a wildlife shutdown as well?

So do we, I was suppose to go Tuesday morning and setup and the wife and kids come down when they get out of school. I also get a little fishing time to myself that way. The wife and kids are disappointed but I am heartbroken especially since they originally said they would stay open only to change their minds a day later.
Check it out. Open and not affected by Feds shutdown. Located about 8-10 miles for Kendal campground.
my husband was at hightop on laurel just fishing from shore there wasnt any signs on the way in and some officers told him he cant be there and wrote him a ticket. he told them they cant do that and ripped it and thru it in the trash. Just a heads up.
