The special master is necessary......it helps mitigate the concerns over a witch hunt.

No, this is different. I can tell you are being fed BS information and propaganda which you spew forth in here. Nothing is without politics, but the law has been broken and the law demands justice.
My house or your house can be searched if we have committed a crime and there is testimony saying that we (you or I) stashed top secret government documents in our homes. And then if a Federal Judge {appointed by Trump} signs a search warrant. The President is not different than either of us or anyone else. No one is above the law.
