RE: Where you putting in at?
You shouldn't knock it until you try it. That big jig has come up with some big stringers thru the year.

I'm not knocking the big jig. I'm knocking the "1.5 ounce bubblegum booyah jig" considering I don't even know if booyah makes a 1.5 ounce jig and I know for sure that they don't have a color called "bubblegum" so I doubt that particular jig would do me a whole hell of a lot of good.

Welcome to tournament bass fishing Frenzy..........
RE: Where you putting in at?
Frenzy,
I had posted (some where) on the board...to try a white transparent crank baits on the deep side of grass. (near deep water...( Ex.The north west side of the 145 bridge) Most people target the trees at Patoka and I have always grabbed a handful of keepers doing this... In May 05' caught one over 5lbs. It is not the easiest pattern to fish...especially in good wind....but that does not matter.
I am not sure the weather that day.. but especially if the grass in getting good wind and the skies are bright.
