RE: Most amazing Bag of fish in Ky?
It doesn't count due to the slot at Dale Hollow, but I had the following 5 fish bag of SMALLMOUTH in a 2 hour stretch one day this past December: 6-4, 5-12, 4-13, 3-9, and 3-8, which I believe comes to 23-14, not bad for ALL SMALLIES. All FNF, All caught within 15 yards of each other in same pocket. Launched that morning with air temp of 18 degrees and wind chill per the TV was -2. First one was 6-4 on second cast of morning, made it feel like it was around 90. I even remember taking off a layer after the 3rd fish for I was sweating. It went back on when the bite went away.

Hey EJHicks
You started off this post saying that one of the most impressive bags that you ever saw was Beachump and Long three years ago with 26 and change on a six fish limit at Nolin. Have you seen the numbers they put up today at Noiln 5 fish at 22 and change. Both of those bags of fish are incrediable for that lake. Today second drop down to 11 and change and it only took seven to get a check so 22 plus is very impressive.

After reading the results again I now realize I was wrong on 7 pounds to get in the money. They paid 7 places and it was 4 plus right at 5 to get a check. 1st 22plus 7th right at 5

What tournament was that? I was at Barkley all weekend. I finally caught me a good sack of fish! My biggest ever. I had 5 fish over 21 lbs. all on crankbait, but I was practicing. Next day....all short fish, how can it go from a day I won't ever forget to the next day zeroing??? The sun was out on Sat., I believe a small front moved through. My buddy had around 16 lbs on Friday as well, caught one over 6 that had a HUGE shad sticking out of its throat. Man those fish were on a feeding frenzy on Friday, but did not repeat itself on Sat. the day of the tourney. At about 9 am i had a hook burried in my finger, compliments of a big ole drum I hooked on a crankbait. Had to make a little trip to the Trigg county hospital, but I finished the tournament out, just wasn't at a 100%.
