Not worked up at all Bevo, just responding to your post. Actually getting quite a kick out of it.

As far as the conspiracy goes, your the one that stated:

That is why I reached my conclusion.

But now you have me curious as to why you would not put your real name on your registration to the site? Perhaps due to the fact you may want to post items to stir up controversy without anyone knowing who you are. Or you believe there is some other internet government conspiracy that will retain your name if you post here. Or maybe you just did not have the ......

Assigning any importance to whether or not someone uses their "real name" on a free message board is incredibly naive. I could have put "Kevin Van Dam" if I wanted. Or "John Smith". How would you, or the admins, know any different? There are valid reasons someone might not want to give their name. I believe I have one.

I agree 100% with this board's policy, however, that seems to say that if you flame somebody's business or someone directly, your identity should be verified. No one should be allowed to anonymously flame somebody's character or business.

I don't agree with taking down posts that hold a non-inflammatory point of view the board owners disagree with, as appears to have happened here. Then again, as someone else said, it's their board. I don't have to agree with how they run it.

But maybe there's more to the story than I know.

fishgurl, it is pretty easy and real quick if you use an electric fillet knife. I filleted 45 shellcracker that my two sons and I caught last summer in about 30 minutes with the oldest trimming and the youngest washing and bagging.

Will a couple of you PLEASE stop the childish behavior. I do not know about the rest of the people on here but I am tired of hearing it already!!

MASBASS thanks for the recipe. Seems like that would work well also for grilling some filets by using a fish basket on the grill.

I think I'll try it soon.

Personally I don't feel that it is unethical, wrong, or even hurtful to keep a few bass every now and then to clean and eat. This presumes that the fish are taken legally. When I do catch big bass I always release them to be caught again by all you guys with 250 hp bass boats.

If you are gonna try the same type of mixture with peppers like I love them on the grill this is better.

I cut pepper rings instead of slices.

Take some 24" wide reynolds wrap spray with a no stick sray place a layer of pepper rings on the foil place the olive oil and lemon cover fish on top of the pepper ring add lemon pepper or a small amount of garlic powder. Some people like onions on top, but I do not care for them much.

fold the foil up and over the fish crimp it and then fold the ends so that is air tight place on a hot grill on the top rack for about 5 - 7 minutes check by uncrimping the foil if it is starting to fall apart IT IS READY TO EAT!!!!!!!!!! I will still have a lot of the juices with the fish this way and some people do not like it.

A friend of mine does this but puts all kinds of vegetables and it is good, onions too much for me.

We cook potatoes and other vegetables like this all of the time.

I grew up an old redneck country boy raised on Meat and Potatoes. After two Coronary stints and a mild heart attack figured I should find a different way to eat. I am not a rabbit so I had to find another way to cook my meats. Needless to say we eat alot of fish and chicken and lean trimmed beef maybe once every two weeks or so.

Yeah that sounds great. I've done trout like that by placing them with butter, garlic, etc in a aluminum foil pouch. They turn out incredible.

I also do the potatoe thing like that in a aluminum foil pouch with about a stick of butter, lots of pepper, some mrs. dash seasoning salt, etc. GOOD STUFF.

Not sure why it was deleted as it was another admin who did so. My guess is that your slamming of the board and the people who moderate it got someone ticked off. You made a valid post, then ended it with a slam at the board. Stick to the topic at hand and you'll find many more of your posts stay on the board. Just my 2 cents.

As to the topic, I have no problem with people keeping anything as long as it is done legally. Keep undersized fish (of any species) or too many, and I have a problem. For me, I rarely keep any fish anymore. If I feel that the fish does not have a good chance of survival after release, I'll keep it for the table if legal. No sense in letting one go to waste.
