RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
I break the law all the time I never drive speed limit. I mostly never wear my seat belt. I tear off the tags on my mattresses, I also sometimes go in the out at the grocery. However I am not a thief whether by stealing or deception. If my intent was to post the article for profit then it would be stealing. our society intends to color coat your crimes as to how bad and this wont get the color it deserves. If you are religious folk a sin doesnt get color coated one is as bad as the other but that is not the case with our laws
Maybe we all should show up at the court house an hour before and have a rally in all our Tment gear just to add some shame to what he did and maybe the judge wont plea it out.

RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
Fishrgurl , These guys were taking money out of other people's pockets.Comparing them to copyright laws is like the difference between a parking ticket and a DUI. there is no telling how much money these guys have won. I don't the police are going to lock up someone for rewriting a newpaper article.
RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
Again, posting the article online was like taking money from someone else as well. I really don't care either way, but it sure is hypocritical.
RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
Again, the article isn't posted, it's been excerpted with credit given to the newspaper. No copyright infringement exists in this thread.
Fishurgurl, since you exceeded the speed limit more than once today on the way to work, and are thus guilty of multiple misdemeanor offenses, the only hypocrisy that exists in this thread is yours.
RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
Come on Michael....! I saw nowhere on the page I looked at about anything speaking of copyright.
So to keep poking folks for your own pleasure is really sinceless and shouldn't be tolerated.

Of course, I don't speed, jaywalk or run red lights to point out others' indescretions. This isn't about fishing anymore so it's probably not applicable to tournaments.com...er...I mean fishin.com.
RE: CHEATERS PHOTO ONLINE
Billy,
It's common knowledge that it's a copyright violation to post complete content from another site. Links are OK. Text is not.
Nevertheless, this discussion doesn't have much to do with fishing so I'll bow out.
