I have never done any float and fly fishing, but it sounds like something I would love. Can you use a fly rod with spinning gear on it? I have two really good fly rods (both 9', 6weight) that I have not used since I moved to Western Ky. over a year ago. I hate to buy new gear, when I could get by, and get some use out of what I have.
I may be able to do the second weekend of December.... hopefully we'll know the date soon....... tight lines
This sounds like a very informative weekend. I am going to put in for some time off so I can make it. I need to learn some new techniques and this has interested me for a couple years. Looking forward to meeting you all and learning from you as well. If you know of anyone that wants to fish that weekend and they dont have a boat I will be coming alone and have plenty of room on my rig.
