Good luck with getting anything out of the game wardon that I met up there. I would like to see a change to things up there.

I've been on Beaver myself. Don't see where a 10.2hp+ at idle, does more harm that a pontoon(wide open) with a 9.5hp/
At Idle is at Idle. If I were OWNER and operater of a new dock on a LM lake like that, I'd be screaming for the fisheremans' side no matter the craft.
bILLY
Elnut if you know what the real law is and you break it because of a misprint then you deserve a ticket. Playing ignorant isn't going to fix it. The law is what it is. Silly? Maybe? But so are a lot of other laws that are well defined. That's my $.02
Sometimes education comes in strange ways.
You could always slap a 9.9 sticker over the 150 sticker. I'm sure everyone would believe it.
Only if it was a ski boat..they never get checked!
guys that run the dock and the tournament said that they called the game officer and the fish and wildlife depart. about the misprint and they were told even though it was a misprint they had to honor it.
but they also said that they wouldn't be responsible if you did get a ticket.
If everybody acts like they have some sense then maybe the land owners around the lake wouldn't object to leaving it that way.
Keep in mind, no matter what you read,
if there are rules posted at the dock-they apply 1st.
I'm late getting in on this conversation, but if I can idle on Carnico why can't I idle on Corinth, Beaver, and Kinkaid.
I once tried to idle back on Corinth with the trolling motor down while leaning on the butt seat and my partner sitting in the passenger side of the bench, but it looked like we were dusting for mosquitos with all the smoke from the Evinrude.

Maybe I could try that with my VERADO! :D Trolling motor down, big motor so quiet that they cant hear it, locals wondering what size my trolling batteries are!!!!:)
See ya on the water.
