Louisville, KY - (St. Matthews area). Woke me and my wife up hearing furniture rattling. Seemed like it lasted 20-30 seconds. Long enough to wake us both up, and for me to get out of bed and still feel it while I was walking around checking things.
Well I definitely felt it I live in Palestine IL about 50 miles from the epicenter. We also just had an after shock here at about 10:15.

Here in Bloomington, IN we had another shake about 11:30am shook the windows in the office!
I was on Cumberland Lake. We saw and felt a series of waves like a really large boat wake. However, no boat had been past us in about 30 minutes. I joked with my partner - "Did you see an ocean liner go by????" We didn't find out about it until later when stopping at a gas/food mart to grab a breakfast sandwich on our way home. :eek:
East Frankfort, Ky. Thought it was just another heavy gust of wind hitting the house so I went back to sleep.
Rattled house good. slapped ol lady on the butt, yelled earthquake and i was outside listening to the windows rattle. Grew up in southern California with all the big earthquakes and was not taking a chance for it to get stronger. Memphis, Indiana
Felt my bed move in Lexington, Ky.
I slept right through it here in Somerset Ky, but a friend of mine from Sikeston, MO called me and asked if I felt it. He is about 6 hrs away.
I thought it was a train at my house in Louisville until I heard someone yell...OMG EARTHQUAKE!!! Pretty neat/intense....
