Re: "HUGE" tourney on Herrington on June 21st
I am very proud of all the folks at Backwater for stepping up and making this event a good one for all theguys around teh area. This goes to show that with proper planning and insight the tournament scene can be what it was a few years back. Getting everyone involved on the same page definately makes for a better show. Congrats to all who fished and Kudos goes out to the folks at Backwaters. I had a good time and the PORK CHOP....Well.....It may be the best one I have had....as well as somebody needs to get me the recipe for those beans....WEBBY
Re: Webby & SuperSprint007
Webby, I hope you know I was not being disrespectful by my post. I thought the tourney was awesome, great competition and very good pay outs and prizes. There was some confusion at the end, but not everything goes 100% perfect all the time. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew I was giving props to Backwaters and I thought it was incredible with the amount of boats how well the tourney went before and with the food!! The Pork Chops, well all I can say is this fat boy could have eaten 10 of them.... I know my partner and I will fish all Backwaters open tournies as well as every Tuesday as usual!!! My only question for you Webby is when are you going to start having food on Friday night tournies??????????????????? LOL thanks and see you on the water...
SuperSprint, also didnt want you to think I was being disrespectful either, I was only trying to give as close to actual weights as I could. Didnt mean to offend if I did, just love to fish and talk fish and help answer anything I can for people with questons. Thanks and take care..

Re: "HUGE" tourney on Herrington on June 21st
Why does Kentucky Department of Fish and wildlife website report the tournament on the 26th? The 21st is Fathers day on a Sunday night. The 26th would make more sense. Just curious. Below is the link.

Re: "HUGE" tourney on Herrington on June 21st
This thread is from last years tournament. I beleive this years tournament would be on the 27th of june. Still waiting on some fliers out here at the shop, but i know someone will correct me if im wrong and possibly supply more info. You could use the contact number for backwaters in this thead to get all the info.
Re: "HUGE" tourney on Herrington on June 21st
OOPS!! LOL sorry about that. I didn't see the dates on it.
Re: "HUGE" tourney on Herrington on June 21st
Hope it is NOT the 27th, there are already two good sized events that day (not that this will matter due to location, just limited those who might want to fish it) at Barkley. The Fishers of Men and KBFN both have events that day so I am hoping this one is a different weekend so I can try it out this year (assuming I find a partner ofcourse :)).
