Re: Nite fishing Lights?
i dont like the stan sloan lites they are too big and what i got and we have had in all our previous boats is rca plugs and we used to have the stan sloan lites but i wouldnt trade my moonlight brand black lights for nothing.... they are high yes but they last forever and take up no space i usually keep mine in the rod locker and they are out of the way and i honestly cant think of a draw back to them.... they use very little power and u can put them away easily they arent bulky.... i have the big one and the little one i use the big one in the front and dad usees the little one..... but they are bright as everythign.... i am very pleased..... u can pick them up at most tackle stores.... they are expensive... but wasnt that rod or reel....its just another part of fishing........
The one draw back to them is they project the light straight out. There fore there is a dark spot down next to the water ,Makes netting a big small mouth at night sometimes a little tricky. The sloans type have a glow instead of a beam of light . Letting you see better under them

Re: Nite fishing Lights?
Just got a Moonlight from Anglers Outpost & Marine. Love the light with one small problem. The suction cups didnt hold very well and I kicked it off the boat when setting the hook on a bass. However even being dunked in the water it still works.
