Re: Bailout Bill
Did you all see where the execs from AIG went on a spa trip and spent $440K following the bailout? That's EXACTLY why we shouldn't be using our tax dollars to support the bad habits of bad businesses. If we hadn't bailed them out, they would have failed and perhaps a business that wanted to do things the right way would have taken their place.
Yes Michael I did and it made me so mad that I got dizzy and almost passed out. This country now is so corrupt it can't be fixed. I think all present people in office should be fired and all new people hired. Give those people one year and if there isn't marked improvement, fire all those peeps and repeat until they meet American approval. When I think of my tax dollars paying for some coperate big wig to have a half million dollar spending spree on my money it makes me want to go O.J. It's time for a revolution in this country and I'm dead serious. We the people for the people are coming to get your theiving butt and THROW YOU OUT OF OFFICE PERMANENTLY!

Re: Bailout Bill
AMEN MARK PREACH ON BRO......... That AIG thing has made me sick also, the nerve of them it shows that they have no respect for their fellow man, none what so ever. Mine and your tax dollars sent them on vacation but I cannot afford to go on one myself. They should be tared and feathered and rode out on a rail. " so you say you want a revolution" Beatles.

Re: Bailout Bill
The only possible solution I can see is to vote for candidates who want to CUT taxes. I don't mean just token cuts, but big-time cuts that will matter.
The way I look at it, if the government doesn't have the money, it can't waste it.

The problem there is you are thinking like a normal person. We can't spend what we don't have. We can borrow, but only so much.
The government can print, spend, and borrow as much money as it wants to. Hence the debt the U.S.A. now owes.
