Fern Lake..... I'm sorry Lord.....
Laurel for me. I live 10 minutes from there but drive to one of the many TN lakes around me to fish often. I just can't figure Laurel out??
I have to go with T ville also.............
for me it's Green, I can't catch a cold in winter naked on that lake.
I Fish woodscreek faithfully about 4-5 times a month.......As far as keeper fish go, it has to be one of the toughest......Some people say willgreen is tough, but with the 12' size limit down there it makes it a whole lot easier than woodscreek. I have caught several 6lb+ from there and even caught a 10.1 3 years ago. We had our fish off down there last thursday and it took 5.11 to win, 1 fish! there have been more tournamanets won with less than 4 lbs down there than anything else.......I dont know what has happened down there.......
I would have to vote for Taylorsville because of fishing pressure and it's proximity to Louisville....well, I used to think it was because of the pressure until I spent four hours on it with Davey Hite and watched him catch a limit....then I decided, maybe I am not that good at catching bass!

Man, that had to be cool, to fish with him, espically on a home lake like that. Was he here doing a Day on the Lake, or just visiting? But I will agree with alot of people here, Taylorsville has to be one of the worst lakes I have ever had the displeasure of fishing.
I've caught fish in every major impoundment in the state excluding the two I've never been to,which are Rough River and Nolin, but the type lakes that give me the most trouble as far as bass fishing are clear water lakes like Laurel and Greenbo,I just have trouble using artificials in these lakes.Live bait I always catch something.
Laurel is the toughest Dead Sea:(

A few years back there was comething called World Championship Fishing, where they would have about 15 pros fish three days, four hours per day and then run there boats on an obstacle course for speed and times. To make a long story short, they fished one day at Herrington, one day at Guist and the final day at Taylorsville. I was a press observer for two days, was in the boat with kevin Wirth at Guist and then Davey at Taylorsville.
