Re: Palin's resignation
I think you are missing the point Clinton was not just cheating on his wife he was cheating on his wife with the hired help. A young intern if this is not criminal it should be if you were her parents and sent her to work in the white house would you not be appalled that the President of the United States took advantage of her? It also was done in the oval office (not in the living quarters) which he disgraced the highest position in our nation and the democrats just laughed at it. I am a republican and if the circumstances were the same and he was a republican president I would be asking him to step down just as we asked Nixon and I think the Governor of South Carolina should step down. I think that is the difference between the republican and the democrats....
Was she made to do anything against her will? Was she under age? Don't think so. And yes, that was a low moment in the White House. I'm still unclear as to why he was under oath testifying about that in the first place. In any case, none of my business who he, or any other politician does, as long as it is legal and not using tax payer $$. Republican, democrate, other, in the men's room, Argentina, so what, doesn't matter. If you are involved in something illegal (Spitzer's protitution ring scandle comes to mind), then yes, I have a problem.
Nixon resigned cause several others in his adminstration were already up on charges or had been found guilty. Just a matter of time until his number was up too.

Andrew I have a problem with you saying it is not your business this man was elected to the most powerful position in America. With this goes an enormous amount of responsibility and when he takes a young intern whom is very vulnerable and does what he did it is a serious lack of ethics and morals and if he can not turn down this temptation can he be trusted to hold this high of an office. I could never trust this man to make the right decision after what he did.
It is our business because by voting for him we are conferring this power to him and he has abused that trust in the worst way. If she would have been older and did not work in the white house it would have been a little better.
