man if you cant catch fish at barren you need to take up a new sport. Ky/barkley is at the top with barren in 2nd no doubt.

I have to say KY lake #1, but for numbers how bout an overlooked Dewey lake...
It has been said before..Head West Young Man. KY, Barkley and Malone.
Give me your thoughts on the best lake for Largemouth Bass fishing in Ky or at least the one youve had the most success at?
My top three would be 1. Ky Lake, 2. Ky Lake, and 3. Ky Lake.
All joking aside, Ky Lake is as good as it gets around here. I fish the BFL out there and a lot of weeks the winning weight bests other divisions in Tenn, Ga, Alabama, and other big time bass producing states. Same reason BASS comes there every year. It's the only lake I know of that you can go and fish any way you want and catch fish. By that I mean you could go there right now and fish ledges, flip docks or some other shallow pattern, fish topwater, or whatever method you like, and most likely catch good fish.

He asked about Largeheads specifically, not smallmouth, otherwise I would have said the Holler followed closely by my beloved lake C.

o some how i missed the first page where he said large heads so yea has to be ky
Kentucky Lake easily. You fish KY once and it will ruin a trip to any other lake in Kentucky the rest of the year. I will take 30 minutes fishing Kentucky just before dark over a 2 day trip anywhere else in the state. Simply amazing.

My feelings exactly.
