I swear I am considering stockpiling guns, food, ammo, and supplies just because I honestly believe they are selling us out in D.C and Obama is Mabus.
You're probably the only one that's not stocking up. I know guys that are spending upwards of a $1000.00 a month on ammo and supplies. This government is going the same way as the Soviet Union. You should have bought ammo befoere the election, it was cheaper. But the reloading supplies have been going down.

OBAMA WINS NOBEL PEACE PRIZE
By Wojciech Moskwa
OSLO (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for giving the world "hope for a better future" and striving for nuclear disarmament.
The decision to award one of the world's top accolades to a president less than nine months into his first term, who has yet to score a major foreign policy success, came as a major surprise.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised Obama for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."
The first African-American to hold his country's highest office, Obama has called for disarmament and worked to restart the stalled Middle East peace process since taking office in January.
"Very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," the committee said in a citation.
He was nominated for his actions while he was in office less than two weeks. This means that the award is meaningless and worthless.
Re: There'll be no living with him now!
I have nothing good to say about Nobama except for I "hope" somehow, someway he does this country good! But I really and truly have nothing good to say about him...I could hop on this band wagon with the rest of you guys....but why? Just to make my blood pressure go up? Just to make me get boiling mad and ruin a good weekend, a weekend that I have no work to do? Unfortunately for me, I'm not very diplomatic (a bad trait but it is what it is, call me a redneck, I don't care)...so sometimes I find it difficult to write or speak with the tone of a mature adult 47 white male.
Let's "hope" the next three years + "change" passes quickly and we NEVER have to live through such times again!!
P.S. - What do you all think about that new Brad Paisley song? I think it's titled "Welcome to the Future"....some of the lyrics are "Wake up Martin Luther", etc...I like Paisley but I'm not real sure about this song, maybe I need to listen to it a few more times before I understand it.

Hope for what exactly? Look at the list of past winners. They include terrorist and a failed U.S. President. Sounds like your hero is in great company.
Re: There'll be no living with him now!
Now I am speaking from an outsider as I am just north of the border but I am quite shocked about Obama received such an award as this. Yes he talks the talk and walks the walk and with his big smile can sell ice to Eskimos but can he deliver? Thats my concern. To me I am still shocked he got voted in as I was hoping John McCain would have won but if it had to go to a Democrat then Hillary as she has the experience. Anyway, I digress for a moment. Just like others have said here he has not accomplished those things that he won the award for. Its like giving a student an A when they havent finished writing the exam. Makes no sense to me. Awards should be for what is accomplished and the good that came from that accomplishment. Just my 2 cents on it folks. I do hope that this puts alot of pressure on him to deliver on all his promises he has made to the American people and other countries like us.

You knew who he was and he, at the current moment, is the worst president of my lifetime, accomplished absolutely nothing in his four years. Of course our current one is well on his way to supplanting him. Wonder why a socialtist committe would pick those two out of all of the great presidents that have led this great country.

An excerpt from the will of Alfred Nobel:
"The whole of my remaining realizable estate shall be dealt with in the following way: the capital, invested in safe securities by my executors, shall constitute a fund, the interest on which shall be annually distributed in the form of prizes to those who, during the preceding year, shall have conferred the greatest benefit on mankind. The said interest shall be divided into five equal parts, which shall be apportioned as follows: one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery or invention within the field of physics; one part to the person who shall have made the most important chemical discovery or improvement; one part to the person who shall have made the most important discovery within the domain of physiology or medicine; one part to the person who shall have produced in the field of literature the most outstanding work in an ideal direction; and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses. The prizes for physics and chemistry shall be awarded by the Swedish Academy of Sciences; that for physiology or medical works by the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm; that for literature by the Academy in Stockholm, and that for champions of peace by a committee of five persons to be elected by the Norwegian Storting. It is my express wish that in awarding the prizes no consideration be given to the nationality of the candidates, but that the most worthy shall receive the prize, whether he be Scandinavian or not."
