Re: Betcha didnt think this possible repubs!
I will tell you this.........I will vote for ANYONE running against the Obamunists, but I will NOT throw away my vote, or SPLIT the ticket, like I did in 1992.
A 3rd party candidate will NEVER be viable.......at least not under our current Electoral College.....

I reluctantly admit to voting for John Anderson in the 1980 Presidential elections. I've always felt bad about 'wasting' my vote, so I see your point. That said, our 2 party system needs an overhaul.
I support Republicans because their ideology is far more in line with mine than Dimocrats, but they've proven they're certainly not the answer either.
We need to toss about 80% of the current crop of pols out of office and put some lifetime jail sentences in place for political corruption. Why not? Corrupt politicians do far more damage than any other criminal activity.
Re: Betcha didnt think this possible repubs!
Ill address your last sentence. I figgered whatever I said we would end up on the church topic so now we know where I stand. Im not feeling guilty the least bit. You tell me how Bush worked or any other president to overturn roe v wade. Its easy to blame, hard to solve. Get me a president capable of reversing this decision and they got my vote!;) Aint gonna happen though cause the supreme court decides. The mighty consertative justices can keep your guns you love but wont touch abortion. Why is that?
Nice try at a diversion, but no cigar. Way too predictable.
Painted into a corner? Outflanked? Feeling overwhelmed by common sense? Just play the Bush card, that always works. Well no...not really.
Let me see if I follow. You'd vote for a President who could overturn Roe v Wade in heartbeat, but no President can do that. So then you vote for, and openly support a President who is diametrically opposed to you on a pivotal issue? I ain't gettin no traction in this mental mudhole of yours man.
You may be the only hard core right to life Obama supporting left winger on the planet earth. Or maybe you just like to argue and send PM's about people to mods, and don't really believe the effluent that leaks onto this site from your keyboard.
I believe the majority of Americans are somewhat moderate on the abortion issue. Most of us find it abhorrent, but don't want a return to the pre Roe V Wade coat hanger days. We want common sense, in that counseling be required and alternatives understood, but not an outright ban. Particularly with regard to rape or other special cases.
To your last points...
I'll state this plainly so you catch and follow the thread easily. The RIGHT to bear arms is CLEARLY covered in the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION (despite how your liberal heroes choose to interpret plain English) abortion is not. Clear enough for you?
For the record the 'mighty conservative Supreme Court Justices' aren't so conservative anymore. The right to keep and bear arms was only upheld by a single vote in the U.S. Supreme Court recently. Our newest Justice installed by the President you voted for will now put that issue in serious doubt.

Your train of thought derailed the first time you walked into the booth and voted straight ticket Dimocrat. You already proved you ain't up for a Pulitzer real soon by making sexist comments to a female poster who is an armed former law enforcemnt officer AND knows karate.
If she paid me a small fee...say oh 14 cents or so, I'd trace your TCP/IP address, hack your ISP, and tell her where you live. That encounter'd sure make a fun youtube clip. Just thinking about watching that deal go down makes me want to post a whole page of emoticons.

Easy JimBo the delete button is on fully auto this morning. This site is going liberal like the rest of this screwed up world.
Re: Betcha didnt think this possible repubs!
Mark, the delete button isn't on because this site is going Liberal, it on because too many people, yourself included, are taking too many liberties with civil decorum. Everyone, please remember that Grumpy's Rule stuck above doesn't apply to just the people posting on this but to everyone you post about, whether they be other posters, politicians, religious entities, and yes, even alleged crimminals and terrorists. While, I may agree with some sentiments expressed about terrorists and other evil doers, no matter how strongly you may feel about it, you can not fill your posts with cuss words, accusations, and derogatory comments and expect that the post will not be deleted.

Re: Betcha didnt think this possible repubs!
Thanks Mark. Run close to the wall enough and sooner or later some paint's gonna get rubbed off. Besides I wouldn't really hack anyone's home addy...for 14 cents.
Grumpy, can I slip a teeny tiny derogatory remark in every now and then? Mama lets me get away with it sometimes, and that makes it within your rule. Kidding man...thanks for your efforts on here. Herding cats is a thankless job, I'm putting you in for a raise.
Civil decorum? Ain't that one a them oxymorons I heard about? Or was a dichotomy? Maybe ole H'bob can help us out on that one.
Re: Betcha didnt think this possible repubs!
Devils Horse, you have already used up your share of "teeny tiny derogatory" remarks. :) You have to remember I am a verbose wordsmith (who can't spell), "Civil Decorum" is redundant and nothing more.
Your are welcome and thanks for the raise recommendation. I assume that it will be the same as our Social Security Cost of Living Allowane for next January--zero!!

Well Grumpster in my humble opinion you pick some to be a little more harsh with than others and I think I fall into that category. That's alright I ain't looking for new friends anyway, got plenty to keep up with. You do a fine job, but you are a little to ridgid sometimes and could lighten up a little, again that's just my opinion.
I wasn't aware ******** was a cuss word anymore?? I didn't accuse them of anything, they have openly admitted their heinous crime. Wishing them dead for their crimes has been done on this site by countless others and was let go, but done by me it gets deleted. That's ok I can take it.
Grumpy's rules, have you purchased a Crown yet, lol. Grumpy you and I gotta go fishing sometime..
