Winter Get Together Dec 18-20 Dale Hollow..

Gentlemen, please excuse the late notice but I do not have any other way of getting ahold of anyone. I don't have numbers, etc. I am Eric, "Fcfishman"s son. Dad and I were scheduled to come down to the Dale Hollow outing this weekend but he made all the arrangements, contacts, etc. and I just do not know who to contact!! Dad killed a nice deer last Saturday muzzleloading and then decided at almost 60 that he could still drag it out of the woods by himself. He started having major chest pains and left the deer and made it back to his car and drove himself to the Oldham Co. hospital and they in turn took him to University. He had two stints put in Monday and got home yesterday. He still claims that he is going to try to come down Saturday for awhile but with the snow, etc, he does not need to be outside. Once he gets rested at home today, I am sure he will be back on his computer. He made up a bunch of spinnerbaits for everyone, and if we do come, I will make sure to grab them. Thanks.

Thanks for the info Eric. Fcfishman, you need to stay at home and get some rest. Speaking from an experienced patient, you need to get better so we can all see you next year at the same event. Sure am glad that you made it to the hospital and hopefully all will go well. It is going to be cold, rainy and snowy this weekend which won't help your situation at all. The spinnerbaits are not going anywhere and don't have a shelf life so you can keep them until next year and we will expect to see you then. Get better and hope to see you soon. Elnut

Just got home and had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. I just waned to take a minute and say thanks to Elwood and Steven and all of the others that donated to this event. It was very well run and a great time. I caught my first Smallie from Dale for proof that there are actually fish in that lake that I can catch.
