Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
I'd still go Nad hunting, and if I got to them and he bent over or went down, he wouldn't get up, feet can do some amazing things. And of course running would always be an option, but I've never been real good at that, lol. I'm just saying,, not trying to sound tough, heck I'm a sissy boy.
This story is bull I think. It would be right up Cousins alley but if that really happened, the press would be all over it. Could it have been squelched by some glad handing, I guess anything is possible.
All that said though Cousins is a major league Hothead and really needs to calm down, there is always somebody meaner and he's going to meet them someday.

Yessir..just like the gunfighters in the old West.
Still nothing from our sources and we do have quite a few that are our customers(boosters).
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
I think Cousins has gotten a bad rap. I really haven't seen him do very much to be labeled a thug.
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
I agree know1..Cousins has a temper, no doubt about it. Being labeled a thug is just reaching. Everyone talks about the chicken wing he gave the UofL player, but forget the fact that he took a knee to the face from said player. It may have been an accident, maybe not. In the heat of the game kids emotions come into play and sometimes use poor judgement.
As for the USC fan punched..that is the funniest BS I have heard in years. Rival fan wanting to stir some crap...nothing more.
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
Go over to ESPN.com and hit the college ball page. Then go to teams and pull up the UK page. Then hit boards and there is a guy on there claiming he saw the whole thing in person and why it happened, maybe it was kyfanatic, lol, I'm sorry Lord for that one.
Anyway seriously check it out, it seems ligit from the guys story.
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
I'm a thug! I'm sorry I can't help it!! If I'm playing ball or wrestling and I get a knee or an elbow my first reaction is KILL! It's a man thing.:p
Seriously though when you step back and I mean step back and consider all the negative stuff about UK and it's players isn't it reaching? Millions of people have either viewed, or witnessed or heard about this stuff and nothing has been done.....It's good water cooler talk but that's it.
I bet ESPN (who is famous for inventing heros and villians cause thats what makes a sports story nice and juicy) loves to incite the frenzy on teams at the top. First it was Coach Cal being wrong for the school and he shuts them up by winning. Coach Knight dogging Coach Cal and then kinda apologizes. Any play that looks or is suspicious is turned into a conspiracy of kids getting paid off to be quiet or Cousins is a man about to open a can of whoopy on someone like a pitbull if not for Coach Cals abilty to hold him back?
Cousins brings alot of this on himself that can't be denied. His scowl and demeanor fits the tough guy image.
It's so clear that UK has to deal with a different level of srcutiny on every level. I wish they would have really talked him up for getting that tooth knocked out and then smiling and playing around with his new look on the bench. I think they would have if that's what people wanted to see.:)

Exactly...UK has one of the biggest fanbases in sports. If my job is to get hits on a web page for ESPN,CBS,whoever, I'm going to write articles and start blogs I know will get the most attention.

Take a look at past behavior. He was kicked out of the Alabam title game and cost his team the game. He was kicked off his high school team for assaulting an assistant coach. Sounds pretty thuggish to me.
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
as long as he is just a "THUG" on the court, which i havent seen him be on the college level, who is it really hurting but himself. now lets say hes at a fund raiser and has a struggle with the law and is arrested, i guess then maybe we could put that label on him. imo
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
That's the risk you take when entering the player's area (storming the court). Right or wrong that's the chance you take. That's why there are rules in place to keep people off the court/field, etc.
Don't know what happened. If I ever see Cousins I'm not taunting him - unless me and Canseco hit the gym for a few years.

Amen! Amen and can I get another!!! And because the rules were not followed look what kind of things can happen.
I wonder if those times in MLB that someone gets a winning home run or sets a record and then plows over a fan who broke the rules and stormed the field got this much attention and in fact it actually happened several times. Or what about some of the College Football when band members and fans get plowed by these big boys cause they are on the field and shouldn't be?
Like Baretta use to say...Dont' do the crime if you can't do the time...
Re: I'm surprised no one is talking about COUSINS punching a FAN out......
Tim T I did not meen any thing about you being a Pro. Just that a trained athleat could take more damage than an average joe. If a big guy like Cousins threw two punches it should have been very obvious. Arm motion or some damage to the guys person. In that situation if a UK player punched a fan on that night it could have been a blood bath. The fans would have maulled the entire team.
