Re: I HOPE I like it.........I bought a Cumara tonight....
Looking forward to your post about those rods - I'm thinking about a new C-Rig pole for this year - I've held the Cumara in my hand at BPS - just wondering?
Anyone got any comments about the new BPS Carbonlite rods?
I recently bought the Carbonlite/Revo S combo. I havent used it yet but it seems to be well built and very well balanced with the Revo. It is definitely light like they claim it is and as soon as I get to test it out on the water I'll post my thoughts.

Thanks! They felt pretty good - not in the same class as the GLX or Cumara but not bad considering the cost - wondered how they fished . . .

I think you will like the Cumara just fine. I don't own one (yet) but I fished with Dave last summer on the big lake and used a couple of his caroling rigging / jig fishing deep and they are very light, sensitive rods. I have a slew of Loomis rods but no GLXs (yet) and I think the Cumara compares favoribly with GLXs in sensitivy and weight and you can't go wrong with that Shimano warranty. No worries on that purchase...

Alright...you guys have talked me into it. I was going to buy an IMX but I guess I'll get a Cumara. I might have to rig something up to cover the split grip because it feels akward casting with the skinny handle. I seen Terry Scroggins cover his split grips on his Carrot Stix's. I wonder what he used that didn't add to the weight of the rod?
