Doug gave me a tip a few days ago on how to catch sauger. I was with the entire fleet of the Kentucky navy today at the Duck Pond. Doug was on my mind the entire fishing trip.
Using Doug's method, I caught a fish within two minutes. Things slowed down a little and I was back to my old technique and switching back and forth. Caught my limit and the skunk smell is out of boat. :D
