Re: fishing mistakes
Not setting the hook on my personal record bass, or beilieve to be, fishing a tube last year he took it and ran with it started winding it in figured it was hooked got it back up towards the boat and it spit it back out. Often wonder how big this one was the rod was bent like i never had seen it bent before could feel it pulling hard, hardest I ever felt. I think about it all of the time the rest of the day I set the hook in about 5 logs thinking it was a bite when i felt a bump.

Re: fishing mistakes
Was fishing with my wife and I hooked a bass on a Bagley DB3. My trolling motor was goughing into a rocky bank at the same time. My wife was telling me to forget the trolling motor and get the fish. At this time she saw the fish and I hadnt. I cranked the fish closer to the boat and decided to sling it in. The fish came about halfway out of the water and out came the bait. First words out of her mouth were "Did you see that? That fish was twice as big as the one you have on the wall!" I have a 6.5 on the wall. This fish was an 8 for sure. Straightened the hooks on my crankbait.
