Re: Best Rod Under $175???
Lots of good rods out there, but for the money I think B and R Outlaw rods are hard to beat. Life time, no questions asked in store replacement warranty. Doesnt matter if you are the first owner or not. Made in the USA. Many of the US brands use blanks made in China.

I'm a Shimano guy. Can't beat the warranty and they are light, sensitive and pretty darned tough! Good to lear that B & R Outlaw Rods are USA made with the same warranty. Any dealers in central KY?

I too love these rods and have have had the pleasure a couple times to meet the owner of B&R - who is one heck of a guy. He stands behind his products and the $50 in store no questions asked warranty is awesome. Many people who buy these rods compare them to some of the most sensitive rods on the market today. They even make a "KY Lake Special" a rod that was designed for "stroking" techniques and is great for jigs and spoons.
Seriously worth a look!!!! (I have 4 myself)
