Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
All of these news sources and people are speculating that his fellow was "mentally ill" "mentally unstable".
This is just a bunch of cow dung to think that this fellow is mentally ill. He planned this for a long time and most profesionals would agree that he would have had periods of lucid thought and that if he were to claim insanity plea the planning and effort to do this and not just an inpulse he could not control would indicate he was lucid.
This fellow was not necessarily "mentally Ill"
He is "Mentally Evil" like Manson
Well I definitely agree with you there. There is a lot of this that was premeditated......but that doesn't change the fact that I think he was mentally ILL.
And just to be clear.......even if he is unstable, I still think he should get the chair or needle or chamber......how ever the HELL Arizona chooses to execute this SOB.
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
It looks like there may be evidence that this has been in the planning stage since 2007......HM.....I guess you can blame that on Palin and Beck.......were they EVEN in the picture then??

Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
In my first post on this thread I wrote that I was glad the nimrod didn't pull the trigger on himself, and that I was glad he was apprehended ASAP. Now that I've been thinking about it...how much will it cost Arizona to keep this idiot behind bars until....until???? Until he's put to death? How long will that be? I say put him to death one day this week...or maybe wait until next weekend on Saturday about the same time he committed this senseless act...ain't no need to support this nimrod any longer than necessary.
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
You can bet they will have this turd on suicide watch 24/7. Think he will have a book deal while sitting in prison for the next 20 years? I'm just saying....

Agreed. He shouldnt be cared for any longer than is necassary. However, he is entitled to a fair trial first by our constitution. So stop delaying and start the trial just as soon as the the prosecutor is ready. And dont delay the appeals process. As soon as he is found guilty (i still believe in innocent until proven guilty, even when everyone knows for fact he did it)... schedule his execution the next day. Dont spend 20 years wasting tax money dragging out the appeals process...get his trial and all of his appeals out of the way and he could be executed by April if they didnt drag their feet so much...
But again... he has constitutional rights no matter how evil he is.
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
No.no no no. In a sane world that would be the case. But this is america remember! First will be the battle over who trys him, where several lawyers will become talking heads, then the punishment phase, where more lawyers and kooks will become involved. The lawyers could be appointed and be unknowns till thr media starts the interviews, and finally it gets to be a drag, and then iyt6s over maybe. What about Hinckly, sirhan sirhan, still alive and kicking. We dont need to study anymore nut jobs. Funny thing is, the many folks talking about the rights of fetuses, will be clammoring for this guy to be executed. What a wonderfull country! Hang him with a bungie cord till death.
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
Splitshot was right, a nine year old beautiful little girl, this makes me sick to my stomach. The other lives lost due as well.
I also agree with Ryan, it's time to start making a point with these types. Fry them like bacon on the Execution Channel, and I ain't popping off either. All the bleeding hearts say it won't help, I say BS.
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
I'm sorry got ahead of myself. Forgot about americas prosecuter Nancy Grace.

I hear what you're you're saying....but in some cases (LOTS of cases), I don't buy that innocent until proven guilty gig, I just don't....ESPECIALLY in this case....even if they could execute him by April that would still be to long of a period of time and waste of tax payer money in my opinion. The people he killed didn't get any time period what so ever before they were excecuted. I say do it one day this week, like This weekend on Saturday at the same time he committed the act.
From what I'm hearing the congresswoman is responsive....man I hope she comes out of this A-OK in a non-vegatative state. I hope her quality of life will be excellent (considering).
Re: 12 people gunned down including a Congresswoman......
I watched the opening of the Today show this morning and they were kinda, sorta trying to tie in this shooting to blame Sarah Palin to some degree. They were implying that all her anti-government talk causes people to do this kind of stuff. That show ought to be ashamed of itself.
