When the spot is wide enough I would rather them run fast than throw a bigger wake too. But of course when they are closer or the area is narrow then idle speed is much better.

Cedar Creek will be regulated soon in more than a few ways. In fact- I look for there to be Boat and HP regulations along with stricter enforcement. It is a good fishery *(FOR NOW)...however- it will be another taylorsville before too long. Bottom line...Cedar Creek is entirely too small and should have been designed a bit better to incorporate the numbers of fishermen in the areas surrounding the lake. it needed to be 2-2-1/2 times teh size it is. Fact!
How would you have "designed" the lake differently? It is what it was before the dam was built.

There are many lakes across the US that limit the number of boater by limiting the number of parking spaces. I'm not saying I agree with it but they do it and it works.
Did anyone make it out today? I went to Herrington instead. I was just curious if the fishing was any better at Cedar?
