What in the world do you do to make yourself believe the stuff you type??? Standing together??? What??? i feel For the families and would love to see heads get chopped off the folks who did this regardless of sex, age, race or political party. How long before this is a political issue?? Maybe already is, regardless you know it will be soon enough.
Bodies were not even cold yet and liberal talking heads like Chris Mathews was talking about right winged extremists being the likely culprits. Of course forgetting about the left winged extremists until someone prolly whispered in his ear piece to correct himself.
I think obsessed is kinda strong.....consistent is a better word. I'm obsessed about a few things but not the dufus on the hill. I just don't love him like you and many others who have short term memory loss. I dont give him a passs on anything....We read for two years into obamas first term about how bad Bush was or how folks hated him...that's obsessed. This dufus is still in charge so I have to comment because he is a part of our daily lives.
You must not really read what I post, or you'd know that I don't love the guy. I only defend him when people want to blame stuff on him that's clearly not his fault. And yes I think obsessed is the proper word, at least if your posts are any indication. There isn't a single subject that you won't twist into a discussion of how much you hate him, no matter how unrelated the topic may be. And using this particular subject as an opportunity to divide us into the "Obamanites" and "everybody else" is just disgusting; we're all Americans in the face of terrorism, and the fact that you and your brother Geo can't see that demonstrates what kind of hate mongers you two truly are.

The case to invade Iraq wasn't centered around Halabja. It was centered around questionable intelligence about "aluminum tubes" supposedly purposed for nuclear devices, and supposed "mobile anthrax labs." Evidence suggests the administration knew that intel was bad, but they used it anyway. A Senate investigation later concluded that the administration "misrepresented the intelligence and the threat from Iraq."
Hold whatever opinion you want about whether or not we should have invaded Iraq, but what is not in question is the fact that we were misled in the buildup to war.

Whatever, your the typical Liberal who feels it's your duty to school us folks who don't think like you....wake up man. Your one of the few on here who still feel the need to school us on your refined views. You feel the need to single me out on Racism, Healthcare and now this? Really, man if you don't like what I type just block me. If I upset you and you want a piece of me then PM me...I'm ten minutes from anywhere you want me.
I could give two loads of crap what you and your condescending remarks mean, seriously I don't care. If your not jumping on the views of Geo then it's someone else...and now me. Your pompous, arrogant and over the top Liberal approach in your views is predictable, expected and tiring all At the same time but I read them anyway out of respect with the thought of seeing a subject from a different view. Not once did I feel the need to single you out because that's just not my style. I usually wait until someone decides to single me out before I reply.
If my views are different than yours so be it. Isn't that ok? Whats wrong with that? Explain why it's wrong to not think like you? One thing for certain is you follow the same mold of PL, Moose1Am and other Liberal Hate Mongers who cannot stand someones opinion if it doesn't fit into your view. Maybe you could host a show on a cable channel and spew your hate for others who don't agree with you? Kinda like Chris Mathews, Keith Olberman (had?) and Rachel Maddow?? I think your smart enough and have plenty of condescending opinions about others to make a show. Have at it big fella....like I said if my views bother you BLOCK ME, move on, act like an adult or PM me. Now if you will excuse me I have to put my Rebel Flag away an clean my guns that's what we Rednecks do.

Except the ENTIRE WORLD believed it......and the ENTIRE WORLD was involved with the intelligence......
AND THE ENTIRE WORLD thought the invasion was necessary.
GAWD how we love to change the narrative to fit what certain factions would like to see.
It has been 10 years..........in 20 or 30 or 40 years.........History will view this mess completely differently......COMPLETELY.
It is amazing that in 1939 Stalin and Hitler were viewed as the greatest thing since apple pie......We sure know DIFFERENTLY now, don't we.

You're right, DJD, it does seem like a waste of keystrokes sometimes, pointing out what I see as ignorance and hate-mongering on this board. But I do it anyway, because you guys need a gadfly, a change from the usual back-slapping you get from most everybody else on here. I sometimes get the impression that y'all think this forum represents a cross section of America in general, when in fact it is more like a cross section of conservative rural republicans, which of course is just fine, nothing wrong with that, but whether you choose to believe it or not, the beliefs of the majority of Americans these days line up more with mine than with yours.
No, I'm not going to PM you, because the posts I'm responding to weren't PM's. And no, I don't "want a piece of you." Sounds to me like it's YOU that needs to click the Ignore button, if my comments bother you that much.

No worries here man. I said it before and like in my recent post...I read your opinions to get another view other than mine because they are intelligent and thought provoking, I may not agree with them but they usually give me pause and reflection. I just never felt the need to single you out based on your opinions and as you can tell I don't take to it being done to me. I'm good and will move on from this to another topic. Good day:).

Actually, the "narrative" I described has not been changed one iota. It's the truth. As confirmed by that totally biased source, the Senate Intelligence Committee, Bob Woodward's book, interviews with the major players, and countless other sources.
Regardless of the eventual outcome in Iraq and the Middle East, that outcome cannot change the fact that the U.S. people were duped into supporting the invasion.
(and who exactly thought Hitler and Stalin were awesome in 1939...???)

RoadToad, i usually stay out of these discussions, but when you say the majority of Americans think like you. i call BS. Not the hard working people trying to make a living. You must be talking about all the free loaders who want it handed to them and believe all of lies and drink the koolaide

Sorry Don, but you are waaay out of line. Physical threats are not tolerated here. That is the only warning that you will get. Disagree all you want, but you will do it respectfully.
Concerning RoadToad, I actually appreciate his posts. I don't always agree with him, but at least he provides some data and does not resort to the libertard, leftists, obamaists, and other insults commonly thrown around by some on the right who take issue with anything that is not a conservative view point. His posts are waaay different than the other posters you mentioned in that his views are well reasoned and respectful. Go back and read some of your posts over the last couple of years and you'll see what he means about that Obama obsession. You make plenty of shots at the potus even in threads that have nothing to do with him. I find Roadtoads posts a nice balance for the over the top extreme right wing stuff that often is posted here.

Umm, actually, it was not the ENTIRE WORLD that believed or was involved. That is you changing the narative, again.
Other than Hilter and Stalin themselves, I'm not sure who viewed those two as the greatest thing since apple pie. In fact, right after the German defeat in WWII, Patton got in some trouble for suggesting we continue on to Moscow next. Please provide at least some real data to back up your claims.

I didn't mean to presume to say that "a majority of Americans think like I do." That's pretty arrogant. But there was a time when conservatives could claim to hold a "silent majority," and those days are over. American demographics are changing, and the conservative Republican viewpoint, while it does dominate this forum, is now in the minority, or if not it soon will be (I think it already is, but I guess I can hardly claim to be neutral, can I?).
