I WAAS TALKING ABOUT FOOD FOR THE GET TOGETHER IKNOW WE BOTH NEED OUR 20.00
I have reserved the pavillion on the lake side for the 13th.
That way the tournament guys can come up in the boats and have the weigh in for all to see.
I will get some burger, and buns, if anyone wants to bring fish or some other delicacy bring it. Potato Salad, Deviled Eggs, Cole Slaw, BBQ, are all welcome.
Jim
maybe we need to make this a striper fishing event, that way we can provide the shore lunch!!! LOL
Just kidding, as I have no idea how to catch a striper except by accident.
I've cleared with my boss, my wonderful wife who keeps catching me on here and making me shut down... LOL that I can come to the get together. I knew she would not mind, but it never hurts to ask.
Jim, if there is anything you need me to bring, just let me know. How about buns, chips, drinks??? I don't have a cooler anymore, so it would be hard to bring iced down drinks, but I can definately contribute some bucks to helping with that.

Hey Folks:
WHAT TIME DOES THE TOURNEY START??????????????????
I VOTE 8AM--------1PM.
Franswa.
All time reigning champion of the
prestigious Golden Trophy Award.
I think we decided on 7-12 CST. That way we would not have too long a tournament, and would still have plenty of afternoon for visiting and getting to know one another better. PLUS, a lie or two about fishing, I'm sure. LMAO
Now Francis, don't obsess on this. Don't let the different hours start to work on your sub-consience, making you nervous and off your game. You need to focus. you need to be at the top of your game, there's a lot of folks gunning for you. Even if the slitghtest bit of doubt, or concern begins to creep in because you don't get the hours you want, well... let's not even go there... it just gets ugly.... LOL
Danny
Yo Danny:
Thanks for the comformation on the starting time. 7AM to 12PM
is exactly what I had suggested, only I meant eastern time when
I suggested 8AM to 1PM. Folks like you and especially Tony have
a long way to travel to get to Barren. Tony lives up around Lexington which is at least a 3 hour drive.
Hope you and Tony fish together so you can get to know him.
He's a real nice person who can make you feel like you've known
him all your life, even if he can't catch fish, lol.
Hope your back is okay so you can have a remote chance of
getting to "feel the feeling". I have back trouble myself.
I have to carry a bottle of pain pills with me. Those heavy flippin sticks I need to catch them huge lunkers sure take their toll on this old man.
Hope to meet you the 13th Danny
Francis
;You know you didn't mean eastern time. You are just trying to turn the tables, and get in my mind.... well there's nothing there, so don't try...LMAO
I do look forward to meeting you. I met Tony a couple of years ago. He helped me get my boat on my trailer after I threw my back out while pre-fishing the first get together. That's still the only time I've been on Barren, so you have an advantage. Maybe I can catch a couple of bigguns at KY or Barkley, and bring with me?? Will there be a live well check? LMAO
Looking forward to it.. it will be fun even if I don't catch a fish.
Danny
Alright girls...If I can con Mr Splitshot into coming we may be there blasting Johnny Cash out of the speakers at daylight. So far I have permission but that's for now. It depends on how I behave betweenist now and then...

Wonderful Jim. Now just where is this Pavillion in relation to the Peninsula Marinas ramp ?
Looks like Danny got permission to come, so guess I'll fish outta his Triton with my Ranger jacket on for luck. :)
The Tournament is a BIG BASS Tournament only. Each person is allowed only one LEGAL fish. I don't remember what the length limit is for Barren, someone remind me please.
The cost will be $20 each person. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Tournament hours will be from 7 am to noon (Central time). Cookout and fellowship afterwards at Pavillion.
Bring the whole family out.
I look forward to seeing all my old friends and new ones alike.
Tony
Yo Tony:
When ya leave Pnninsula Boat ramp ya turn left toward the dam.
There's a pavilion before ya cross the dam on the left.
If ya cross the dam you've gone too far.
I think there's a sign there, but can't remember. Anyhow ya just watch your left side before ya cross the dam and you will
see where we're having the get together.

Check your private mail box.. going to send you a short message.... Been trying to get my wife to join us. So far she keeps saying NO!!!
She has social phobia, very baddly. I feel sorry for her. I can walk up to anyone and talk to them, and for her she would get physically sick just thinking of doing that.
We are proof that opposites attract though. We will celebrate our 20th anniversary this month. In fact, last year she had given me the money for a trip with Dave for our anniversary. What was so bad was a customer rescheduled a meeting and I had to cancel the trip. This year we don't have the money for a trip with Dave. Maybe I could pass a hat at the get together???
LMAO
See you there,
Danny
PS, I guess I can slum it that morning and let you wear that old Ranger jacket. LOL
any one of you boaters have a empty seat Darrell
