Re: Catalytic Converters Stolen from Vehicles
AN alarm would help..............the vibration from the saw or movement while taking it off may make the alarm fire......................I know I let my tailgate down, and my alarm screams :) :). BTW.........if you're looking for a GOOD/cheap alarm, Viper makes GREAT ones............

If you shoot and kill them, you will be charged, and most likely sent to jail. If you only wound them, you will be arrested, jailed probably, and then sued by the crook. After the suit, the crook will be eligible for ssi benefits for the rest of his life in some cases. But it could get worse, if this crook is a minority, then maybe an ambitious federal prosecuter will ask for hate crimes punishment, so you will be jailed, and then fined, while in prison you will likely be sodomised by another prisoner, infected with aids, and then turned loose because the system casnt afford to pay for your medical costs, you will now be homeless, sick, and will die miserably. My advice, hold the light for them!!!

X2!!!! Having your exhaust stolen doesn't sound so bad after you think about what could happen as described above.
A good friend and fishing buddy of mine was fishing at the Arnold's Creek boat ramp a week ago and had his exhaust cut slick into just above the convertor. Evidently the thief was interrupted and didn't get to finish the job. Funny thing is my buddy is a Rising Sun Policeman. It doesn't matter who you are or what you drive these crackheads are gonna get anything of value from you they can. It is a shame it has come to this, but with these fuel prices it is only gonna get worse. Vern
There was a day when even those in law enforcement would be respected enough not to be the target of vandals and the lower half of society. I came home just awhile ago and found my truck had been covered in a nice coating of egg. Of course it was hooked up to my boat and ready to go...now I have to wash the egg off and hope that I can save a little of whats left of the paint. The boat was safe from the hands of the little F*&Kers. Just a little pissed this morning.
There is a decent boat ramp on the Ky river in my county but I would be stupid to leave my truck and trailor there while I was on the water. I feel sure it would all be gone or maybe just parts. It is a shame it has to be that way.
