Does anyone know of someone that has any 9ft. paylake rods or that customs builds rods, that are for sale? I broke one the other day at the paylake.
I have room for atleast two in my boat. Flipping stick I have soom paylake rods 9-10 ft, not really wanting to sell but I will bring one of them wwith me and let you see. Ill talk to the guy I get them from and let you know how much he wants for them. If you want a spot in my boat let me know, planning on stay for awhile but think I could run back to ramp in you dont want to stay that long. Does anyone need rods, hooks, sinkers, or anything else? I will be in a white 2007 Chevy 2550 dont know what boat Ill be in yet depends on how many guys needs a spot.

So I quess it will be you and me on the 25th, it is about time. Good thing the rest of of us are going down there on the 21 because there might not be no more fish there when we get done there Chuck LOL. Where do you want to meet up at and what time? Do any of you other guys going to be going this night.
Chris
Ok, so exactly what is going to take place on the 21st and or the 25th? Show up and watch you'll catch some big ole pigs? What do you do with the fish after you catch them?
Fisheater you going to be going to one of these fun times? I doubt if I can make the 25th. I have a prior arrangement on the 26th that I need to go to, it's early so I won't be out late on the 25th.
Hey there MsgMills,
What is going happen is we will get bait then sit back and wait for that 50 plus pounder to take the bait. I just plan on taking a few pics of them then putting them back. If we get a few smaller ones might keep a few for dinner. Im really just looking foward to meeting you guys and teach a few guys some tricks of the trade. I like to see the number of guys intrested in going after these big cats.
Chris

Yea i plan on going to one of the dates if not both but since mondays a work night i dont know if i can make that one.Doug-Onemorecast56- says he wants to go with me but if we take his boat we can easily fish 3 out of it.Ill talk to him if you want to ride,im sure he wont mind.Or we can take that big Triton of yours.Like i said monday is up in the air but i might take a half day tuesday at work and go anyway.
What time is this going to start up, what time to meet at the Greenwood Boat Ramp?
John since I don't know what time I'll be leaving, I'll take my boat on down to the meeting place. That way if my back starts hurting, I won't be bothering anyone to take me back to the ramp area. No since in spoiling anyone's fun. What would I need to bring...I guess while your all catfishing, I'm going to fish for anything that will bite..... I just got to have my line pulled tight if you know what I mean......
Sounds good, since there will be no big fish weigh in i might just fish around for whatever but ill definutely do some catfishing too.Ill call you before we go to let you know what the stripes are hitting good on so you can bring the right baits.
Alright man. Im going to bring some extra rods, sinkers, hooks so on. I still got room for one or 2 more. I will say 1 more Ill bring my little boat. I think I will be at the ramp around 5:30 or so. I will have some live creek chubs and live bluegill. If anyone needs some bait just ask. Peter are you going to make this trip?
Chris
Just wanted to check and see what the final time(s) and date(s) are. I am planning on attending the Monday night get-together and possibly Friday. I am bringing my boat and my neighbor's boy (at least for now he says he is coming). Are we planning on grilling out or anything like that prior to fishing? As far as tackle, the only thing I might need is some heavy sinkers and some circle hooks, if that is what you guys usually use. I am interested in learning about how to go about fishing for the big cats. As far as fishing behind the lower dam, I have done this several times and caught some nice stripers. However, currently the lower dam is not releasing any water, so I don't know what the bite will be like if next week they still aren't releasing any water.
I live just a few minutes away from the Greenwood ramp so I would like to learn as much as I could about the river. With the price of gas, I will probably be fishing the river a lot more in the future.
Thanks,
Andy
We are going to meet at the ramp around 6:00 pm. I will be there around 5:30 or so. Dont worry about the tackle I have all the sinker and hooks covered. I dont think we are going to grill this time, we are going to meet a few of the guys up near the dam. Hope to see you all there.
Chris
