Santa was very kind to me. I have an upcoming fly fishing trip to East Fork of Indian Creek and was going to start tying some flies this week. One of the patterns I needed more of was some Bead Head Hare's Ears and lo and behold Santa sent me a nearly two dozen in various sizes. Saved me some time at the bench. I also got a popping fly that should work great for bass. Thanks Austin, and your gift should be there by Wednesday.

Got my Santa package today and the wife said no way was it going to be opened before Christmas. She is have a hard time keeping the grand daughter out of the tree so I have to wait also. Thank You very much Santa, and have a Merry Christmas.
Santa was good to me this year also.Lots of nice jigs,some shaky head jigs,wigglewart and some brush hogs in a color i didnt have.Thanks Z.
I love this idea John. Hope it gets bigger next year...I think guys are missing out on the nice surprise from people they may not know.
Beats the crap out of getting another bill in the mail.Plus you may get something that catches you that whopper next year on a bait you may not have bought.
I totally agree Don. I love the idea too, & I know Austin does. Seeing how he gets to open a present early. It gets me alot of stuff that I would normally overlook or I would just say "I'll just stick with what I know about".

I agree it was a great idea from John. No problem on taking it this year (my pleasure) just wish more fellas would have got involved. This year Fred gave me some stuff that I hardly ever throw (shad raps and other stuff) but use to all the time. So it reminded me of how great those baits are so you can bet I'll start tossing them again. We all get caught up in our own way being the only way huh?
Never thought of Austin getting to open an early present...that in itself makes this worthwhile!! Wish more kids were signed on here. Merry Christmas buddy!!
