Hey psp, just to clarify, I wasn't calling you out, I was talking about a certain person who got on here and spouted nonsense, insulted everyone who had a different prediction than them, and then made it a point to come on here and make statements before halftime. But yet when called out he is nowhere to be found.

I expected KY to win and it should have been a blowout IMO due to the poor shooting of UL inthe first half. but again UofL can run with UK and im glad it was close and not a huge blowout. it shows the cards are inproving a little and i agree mark , Wall is the real deal. i willing to bet Cousins gets the bench soon for being too hot headed. as a UofL fan im satisfied with the way they played in the second but would have like to see two halves like that.

Now mhall....I'm not exactly taking up for Big Cuz as he threw that elbow trying to fight his way out of the knotted up mess him and Swopshire were in, but it was Swopshire that shoved Bledsoe after the opening tip...and it was Swopshire that gave Cousins a knee to the head a few seconds later.
Whether that was intentional or not, I think it led to Cousins' reaction the next time they get knotted up. Swopshire aint exactly an alter boy here either. LOL I'm not saying turnabout is fair play when it involves an elbow to the kids head, but Cousins was just fighting for the ball and went a little too far. Those first few minutes with all the jawing and scrapping (on both sides of the ball) were a bit much and everyone needed to chill out. I'm surprised that it didn't get uglier than it did, the way it started. I'm also a little surprised that Cousins didn't get tossed for it.
I wouldn't necessarily describe Cousins as a punk...but I've called him a childish baby a few times...he's emotional, he's really giving 100% effort out there, and seems to let frustration get the best of him sometimes. Some of the behind the scenes stuff I have watched from him says he has a huge heart, great sense of humor, and is really a big kid with some growing up to do. He plays like Godzilla in Tokyo sometimes and gets a little out of control.
I get carried away with my descriptions sometimes but he is out of control often it seems. He seems like a bit of a Hot Head to me. I wondered what happened in that opening deal with Bledsoe. By the way he got by with throwing some serious F Bombs from the bench on that exchange to. Your right that game was out of control and I'm glad it eventually settled down a little. Still one of the ugliest games I've seen in a long time. I realize the Louisville guys can jaw and get out of line to no doubt. Swopshire is usually very very low key though, not typical for him to get involved with that kinda stuff.

Oh I know you weren't calling me out. We were both really close on the score. I wasn't sure anybody would get too close after the halftime score but both teams picked up the pace in the second half.
I watched the game but maybe I missed it....what was wrong with Wall when they tok him out and were working on his legs?

He was having cramps, it has happened to him before. That happens to a lot of players that have a low body fat content, not sure if that is the case with Wall, but most likely is.
That kid is unreal, the last time I saw a player in college like him was Chris Jackson at LSU. I do not like UK, I hate John Calipari (have since his days at Mepmphis and the Nets) but put me down as a John Wall fan. I will enjoy watching that kid play regardless.

When I watched it live and saw all the replays, I thought Cousins should have been ejected, too.
This morning, I watched a highlight video that clearly shows Swopshire kneeing Cousins in the head just before Cousins went to the elbow.
I'm not justifying his actions, but he was basically laying there fighting for the ball and getting kneed in the head. The angle from this video makes it look a lot more like self defense than the one from below the basket.
