Thanks, you were in plenty of time. We were supposed to take some kids trolling for stripers Sat. Not sure if we will now or not.
The affects on humans below the dam is an obvious concern. That takes priority, but has anyone considered the effect of the high water on the spawn? I think the timing is pretty bad on the fish that are spawning or getting read to spawn.

I've gave it alot of thought Scott. Alot of the brown fish were done or just about finished. Although there were alot of smalljaws that had not spawned yet to, there are always those late ones. The green fish were lagging behind though as they normally due and it will hurt them badly. Alot of people believe that the lack of cover is why the largemouth struggle for numbers in Cumberland and while I think it plays a role I have always thought the poor spawn classes are the key factor here. It seems almost evry year about the time the largeheads try to set up shop and make babies Mother Nature takes a big dump on the lake and puts the Kabosh on the spawn. It's uncanny, almost every single year.
