Re: Pitino Done???
Well that is true Woody, but we finally got rid of Doug. That caused the IQ and number of available teeth to rise, and it also did wonders for our air quality. On the down side, a couple of years ago fisheater moved out here. ;)
But EVEN fisheater can't bring the quality of life and standards of bodily hygeine down to what it was when Doug was living there!!

Re: Pitino Done???
I know all of this Prowler, but dang man don't try and rain on my parade today! It is West Virginia against Kentucky today and there are so many stereotypical jokes to be made it is like an early Christmas for me. My team was upset by frickin Morehead for petes sake, don't try and take the rest of my joy out of the tourney! :D
Also, you guys that have not met me in person do not realize the irony of me making redneck comments about UK fans. Just look where I live, I also chew two packs of Redman a day and hunt and fish all the time. I am the U of L fan base token redneck! :)
That's ole splitshot raining on your parade there not me :)
Will Pitt rain on my parade..........

9 seconds to go, Butler with the ball and down by 1. It may not be raining but Lightning is in the background, Thunder is rolling and the skies are pretty dark. If Pitt lets Shelvin Mack get anywhere close to shooting the ball, I would say the Skies will open up with Softball size hail and rain will be the least of the worry.

Re: Pitino Done???
Absolute garbage at the end of that game. Neither one of those fouls should've been called.
I wouldn't want to be a Pitt fan. They are just like purdue was in the mid 90's when I was there. Dominant in a tough conference thru the regular season but always folded in the tourney early.
I'm happy, sort of, but my bracket took a hit.

If it's a foul in the first minute of the game, it's a foul in the last...

Yeah, yeah, yeah. As Bill Raftery would say, "a little nickle dimer" or "play on".

The foul on Butler was the nickle dimer but the foul on the Pitt player, who I hear is up for the Nobel Idiot Award, was a no doubter for he hacked the Butler player pretty good across the arm on the rebound. What is the advantage of having the Pitt players even anywhere across half court, much less on the line ready for a rebound, after the first free throw was made?

Re: Pitino Done???
With Little Ricky Pitino being the guest host on the CBS coverage, since the debacle against Morehead State, it looks like he is auditioning for his next career.
-
Re: Pitino Done???
Did Pitino even accompany the team back to Louisville and help console his team or did he jump on the first thing smoking to the CBS studios?
-
Re: Pitino Done???
He let the team go back to Louisville on their own with the assit. coach's.... I believe your right Woody... Pitino will be a new Sports broadcaster for CBS.....Good by U of L ......The grass will most likely be greener on the other side of the fence for sure this time, unlike the Boston Celtic's failure.....

Re: Pitino Done???
Putting my lopsided feelings aside for Ricky P, but that seems pretty inconsiderate of him towards his team. I think he will pay for that on the recruiting trail. No way he had plans on doing this because unless you lived in Morehead Kentucky and / or attended Morehead State (even then you were hard pressed to pick MSU), I don't think he was on CBS's radar as an in studio guest before the tourney started. Sure does sound- like they got beat, the phone rang and Pitino bolted leaving his team behind. I would be a bit upset, both as a player and a parent of a player on the current roster, and would seriously re-consider my college choice if they are considering Louisville. I have never heard of this.

Re: Pitino Done???
Lol this is funny stuff. Didn't we go through this last year? With Calipari and Pitino?
