Just happened to catch a few minutes of Fox and Friends this morning... Geraldo was on to discuss the gun control issue and man is that guy dense!! He insisted on knowing why someone has to have a 30 round clip in a Glock (his words not mine) or AR-15. To him that's the problem, 30 round clips....really? Have people become this stupid? The question isn't why but why not? If I want to have a 30 round clip so what? It's legal. What harm has the millions of 30-40 round clips done? What harm has 17 round pistol mags done? Nothing!!! It's the mentally ill person doing the damage not the piece of metal or carbon.
Some of you have seen the short video I posted and that proves how stupid this idea of limiting clip capacity is. Not only that but what a limit on clip capacity does is open the door to other things. That.s how it works folks.
OK lets say they deem only 10 round capacity from this upcoming law. Now the manufactures will make 10 round mags that are triplestacked with wide mouth mags wells in the weapons that will enable the mag to be changed in a nanosecond, then what? They gonna make a law to stop that? They will say semi-auto pistols that hold more than 10 rounds are banned then what? A shooting (which will happen again no matter what they do) and the depressed/mentally ill person has a Glock with (20) 10 round clips and two pistols kills a bunch of folks, then what? The scenarios are endless and the fact remains you cannot legislate stupid out of people. They will attempt to limit legal gun owners to certain weapons and accessories, illegal and mentally ill will still do what they want. Then after all the control they impose they will address the real problem of pills fix everything. But in the end they did got they wanted more control.
This is an example of what is wrong with gubment. Both Biden and Obama have been on record supporting the 2nd Amendment and talking about believing in our right to protect ourselves. They are hypocrites, no surprise but they are.
The stats on violent crimes and legal gun ownership shows how violent crimes have reduced by 49%? I may be off a little but that was the slide they showed from the FBI site. I guess i'm just disgusted with anyone who just jumps on the bandwagon of gubment control for no reason other than more control. Tragic events happen that does not mean we need to make a law that doesn't even get close to the root problem.
Just a thought on Geraldos comment of why does someone need a 30 round clip? Well since my stance is that it's legal (right now) what business is it of yours? My questions is if our max speed limit around the USA is what 70-75 mph? Why does he drive a car that can do 150-200 mph? Why do you gun control folks drive cars that are made to break the speed limit? Why does anyone need a car/motorcycle that can break the law? Traffic accidents (sometimes deemed homicide or manslaughter) kill more people than guns do annually. Why are we allowing the car manufactures to make cars that go 2-3 times faster than the legal speed limit? By his thought process we should all be driving cars that can only do the max speed limit, see the problem? You cannot legislate responsibility, stupidity and ignorance!!! Idiots!

Amen. People keep forgetting that. Drugs, rape, full auto weapons, drinking and driving, murder, assault and on and on are illegal.
Sure we need laws but my bet is if we actually enforced more of the broken ones we would not need new ones all the time. Does anyone actually believe that when the dictator reveals his new bill that gun violence will stop?? School, mall, post offices or whatever massacres will stop?? I'm willing to bet $100 it won't. I'd bet more but Uncle Barry is taking more than he used to......the illegals need supporting ya know. :)

Here's another one that would help. When Ryan and his fellow Cops lock up a scumbag for murder, rape and heinous crimes don't let them out in 6 years due to so called good behavior.
Look up and research how many gun deaths are caused every year because they let some low life out of prison back on the street because he is now rehabilitated. Repeat offender statistics are staggering, check it out....
