while fishing a gravel bar on the Cumberland river saturday in the driving rain we were burning some trout up. When the action subsided I looked up at the power line streched across the river and was amazed at the number of birds perched across it. The action stopped and we went back to camp. To weather the storm.
Not having a dip before the 1st fish would eliminate a lot of fishin buddies. If we didn't catch one fast enough I would go "IKE".
Seen some old ones and some new ones on the threads. Always heard about the cows laying down means it was going to rain. Anytime the wild life is up and stirring it was going to be a good day of fishing. Banana NEVER IN THE BOAT.
