So you get on here and run your mouth and call people names....wow thats intelligent. Most of the people in that video are students, likely not from Indiana, and don't really care about basketball, rivalries, or manners obviously. Go to any rivalry game in the country and you will get the same thing. Not condoning it, but come on man. Students in Rupp treat people the same way, fans on here have said it. Let it go..... you lost!!! Oh, and if you read that rivals article it said that rushing the court happens a lot all over the country.....the model in the article said the guy who accidentally knocked her over helped pick her up....yah thats a scumbag!

I agree with you. All kinds of different people make up a fan base so to assume that all are bad or good is silly. I have been around an assortment of teams through my years and have found that the fans that pull for dominate or successful fans are usually over the top in their views....not all but more than most. I understand why but I think it's silly. UK lost, got beat, didn't win and it's over. The best fan would take it and move on. Crying over something that happened already is nuts, no amount of belly aching is gonna change it.
The games I have been to here in Lexington while wearing my Gator colors were a blast! Some fun banter back and forth but totally within the boundaries of respect. Same goes for my girlfriend Wearing her tennessess stuff. I think it was because we were at a football game and the expectations are low with that sport. I feel if we were at a UK basketball game wearing another teams colors the possibility of getting some crap would increase because they expect to win and as we have seen on here and you tube some people can't accept it. In the end it's fun for me to watch and banter back and forth about sports but when people take it to the level of name calling or fighting (happens all the time) then someone has some real identity issues or been drinking too much. Jmo
Great game. And then I pulled up the big tens greatest games on the big ten network the other day and lo and behold it was an iu/uk game from 1990. The roles were reversed. IU was the prominent power and UK had been down for a few seasons. An equally competitive game.
Fans will be fans.
