Re: fisherman pistol-whipped in Jessamine County
I'm guessing that you don't carry a .32 mag anymore? Sounds like it would be useless in that situation. More like a lady gun.
Buy a glock and mags. I swear i love people who carry, first i know they are good people, second i know i will never encounter a situation like you did.
Whoa! there friend. "More like a lady gun." I'm a lady, do you want to see mine? It's a .357 Magnum loaded with Exterminator ammo. I have 2 others of different cals but this is my favorite.
I have had to pull it and "draw a bead" a couple of times, once at early light on the lake when 2 men saw me standing on the boat. My husband had gotten off and was standing in the shadows watching the whole thing. Their intoxicated conversation went something like, "That's a girl by herself. Let's get on the boat and take her." (I was on a pontoon boat). They said some stuff I can't post here and I knew they intended to hurt me. They drove up closer and reached for the side of the boat. I drew my gun and said, "Who wants to be first?" I didn't get any volunteers.
I never assume that I will always hit the target without practice so I try to stay up to date. About a month ago my husband and I were getting ready to do some target practice. An armadillo came waddling out right in front of the target. I decided to see how much damage an Exterminator would do and shot him. He exploded all over the place as if I had shot a watermelon. I love my LADY GUN.
