0445 jumped into the truck, got some fuel, and 4 packs of smokes. Got almost a full fifth of beam, most of a bottle of absolute, half a jug of jose cactus sqeezings, and a full gallon of Red wine for the pasta. the lady is safely tucked away in the hospital, [recovering well]. Got enough food, and mostly what us old folks always worry about toilet paper. # pounds of coffee[3] life will go on.

I made it to work. Roads are ok here in Lexington but I suspect they will get worse since it's still snowing and nore folks will be out in it. I didn't make any special trips to get food or anything since I live in the suburbs and stores like Kroger and Walmart are only minutes away.
I do need some more Whiskey since I consumed all I had. I don't consider myself a drinker (Maybe 12 beers a year? hahaha) but taking shots at night to help me sleep was good and I miss it. Any advice on a hot drink with whiskey, bourbon or whatever?:)
Went outside a few minutes ago with a ruler and measured 6 - 8 inches in most places.

yes, this is like the army APCs, A lrg cup[i use a water glass] a cup of brewed decaf tea, a few drops of lemon juice, I fill the container about 3/4 ths full with HOT tea,add about 3 tbl spoons of honey and top it off with bourbon, If you're feeling good, that will do. If you're sick, with a chest cold and congestion,add another half potion, rub your chest with vicks, put a dab under your nose, put on a sweat shirt, and go to bed.

I purchased some Jack D honey whiskey and already took a few shots and I am feeling pretty dang good right now!

And that chit is heading my way tonight, already had snow on Saturday night with gusting winds, add the single digit temps and so much for global warming, 0 this morning when I left the house and got to work it was -2. News said High Point, NJ was -32.
We got 10 inches here in central KY!!!
