Went today. Fished toward dam. Stained to muddy. Water temp 43-44.8. Caught fish steady in 25' of water about 6-8' deep. Saw the sun shine once or twice. About 20 boats at settlers trace ramp. Only 2 keepers
Anybody do any crappie fishing?

Wasn't fishing just stopped to check water conditions.
Thinking of going Friday morning before work, any tips for bass?
Taylorsville is up 6.5' from winter pool as of today, and rising.
Thinking about running out to Taylorsville tomorrow. what's water looking like? anybody catching any?
I've heard the Crappie bite is good. Lots to catch to get keepers but biting.

Taylorsville has fish attractors put up by KDFWR. You can also use the Taylorsville Fish Attractor Map when planning.
Went today for bass with low expectations and they were met;)
Upper 1/3 of lake. Muddy, 4" visibility and 50F. Not a bite in 4.5hrs.
Mainly jig but also a few other cranks to cover 3 to 15 ft.
Still lots of shad just nothing around them. marked all the shad in 5 to 10 ft. They were flicking around in a couple of small creek/coves I fished too.
Saw 1 crappie boat and one catfish boat.
