I get tired of Poltics at times too
Cable TV is a rip off. And the internet is becoming the same way. I agree there are way too many **** commercials on TV and on the internet these days. Almost as many minutes of commercials as there is in programming. They use to run two or three 30 second commercials and then take you back to the program. But these days it's 5 or 6 30 second commercials, back to the program highlights for ten second and then back to the commercials for another two minute and then they take you back to your regular program. Five minutes later it's back to the commercials again.
And about 80 to 85% of the channels on my WOW cable are not worth watching at all. Some are broadcast in Spanish only. Hey this is America or the USA and we speak English here you dummies. If you come to the USA and can't learn English then go back to where you came from. Don't expect us to change the way we do things here to accommodate you. You need to make the change and learn to speak and write English. There are classes you can take if you are here legally.
The other channels 4 of them are infomercials that sell things all day long. Several religious channels that I would never watch. Fox noise which I won't even let my dialer show anymore. MSNB on the weekend which all they show is prisoners behind bars fighting with each other. Come on Saudi Arabia we don't need to see that BS anymore. I know you are power hungry and want to control people by showing what happens to bad people who get in jail to scare the rest of us into being under control of the man. But this is getting boring. Either pay from some content on the weekends or get of the air. I should not have to pay for that BS type programming. Then there are the programs above Channel 82 which show reruns of the Beverly Hillbillies and the Brady Bunch which I saw back in the 1960s. I don't need to see reruns of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans or Hogan's Heroes anymore.
Now last night the Voice was on and I watched parts of it. And then the Ice Hockey Stanley Cup playoffs have started and there were several Ice Hockey games to watch. I don't watch Hockey on TV as much as I use to when I played the game in college but when the play off start I tune in to some of the games.
And on top of all the above they keep raising their rates and complain about increase costs to buy the programming. But the commercials are all local companies so this is WOW's commercials that they are running on my TV not the Shows that they buy to put on the cable.
You are right they have way too many commercials. When I watched the Super Bowl it was obvious. And while watching the NCAA Men's Basketball Games this past March it was obvious that they were running way too many **** commercials.
Ha! TV and me have parted ways months ago! I saved $100 a month and read more now than ever. I honestly got/get tired of politics and that's so embedded in sports, hollywood and about any show anymore that i had enough. The hell with getting married again!
