Man, I will tell you this.........Google and Apple banning and blocking MeWe, and Parler.......WOW.
I believe massive lawsuits are coming and I believe Google and Apple will both be paying BILLIONS and BILLIONS for anti-competitive practices.
I also believe they are headed down a bad path with anti-monopoly laws, and racketeering laws.
WE are in a bad , bad time, right now.

This is a private company that does not have to run any social media sites. Sue them all you want but it's like the Jewish Bakery who refused to service a gay couple's wedding cake. Since they are a private bakery they can refuse service to anyone they like. This is not public broadcasting over the airwaves that is regulated by the FCC. They still have the right to free speech but they don't have a right to have it carried by private companies.
Trump used Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and failed to use the White House Press Briefing Room like all the other preceding Presidents. Trump should be locked up and have the key thrown away for including a revolution after he lost a fair election that was the fairest and most secure election in the history of the USA. Paper ballots were used to double-check the voting machines and there was no fraud. Trump is lying to the people through social media and it's about time they shut his lying mouth down. The man in charge of the election security said that there was not a fraud. Trump's own AG, William Barr, said that there was not a fraud. Trump fires them for telling the truth. Trump will be charged with inciting a riot or insurrection or a revolution, call it what you like. Trump is going to prison for this and many other crimes.
We were in very bad time for the last 4 years and the good times are going to start once Trump is gone.

I think you are wrong with regards to private company and being able to do whatever the EFF they want.
1. Racketeering.
2. Monopoly.
3. Anti-Competitive practices
Nope, I believe there is some ugly coming their way.
Also, since over 80% of people use Social Media sites for 100% of there "news" and "information", I believe their product is more of a commodity item, and therefore may end up being IMPORTANT for a whole lot of reasons. IF that ends up being the case, they have a higher level to meet, and they are not meeting that.

So what happens when Amazon kicks Rathaeon and Lockheed off their cloud servers, because the make morally reprehensible weapons of death.
Or what about big pharma. THEY are evil mother effers, right, because they overcharge for their drugs.
Or the best one yet.......Health Care companies. Yea, they deny claims and services, for all kinds of reasons, so they are EVIL and morally reprehensible too. Let's shut off their compute power.
Or I have a better one.........Company y makes a better gizmo than company z. Let's artificially impede traffic to Company y's website so z can get better throughput, and therefore z can sell more products.

Twitter and Facebook are not mobsters thus there is no racketeering. The Democrats will control the House of Representatives, the US Senate, and the White House thanks to Donald John Trump's antics. Trump cause the GOP to lose the Senate. Trump has been impeached twice now the only US President to ever be impeached twice. Trump is a one-term loser and cry baby. The Democrats will be in control of the US Government and I doubt that they will be charging Twitter with anti-competitive practices.
What Twitter did with banning Trump was the right thing to do. There is no guarantee that you can post lies and invoke insurrection on Twitter and not suffer the consequences. Facebook did the right thing too. And as far as Apple and Google they both have rules that companies have to follow if their apps are on the Google Play Store of the Apple Store. Break the rules and they won't support you on their website. Just like a store that has a policy that says no shoes no service.
