He will get the nomination by Republicans.
He will get my vote again in 2024.
He WILL win in 2024.
He hammered it tonight.............an estimated 20k in the crowd. Has sleepy Joe ever garnered that type of crowd?
IT will be interesting.

I should also say, I purchased Trump Media Company stock a few months back, and it has doubled in price since then.
AND I only see an upside, especially if TRUMP continues to push that he's running. That might all be "fake", as the media corporation is a new entity.
I don't care..........Money to be made :)
Later,
Geo

And you can't run for President with a criminal record. Trump is self-combusting and will burn out sooner rather than later.

You know, if there was anything to the stuff the Southern District is digging up, we would already know about it.
It will be mostly embarrassing stuff, and financially damaging to the Trump Org, which is what DEMS really want to do, but it will not be anything actionable towards Trump, or his kids, or his lawyers, or anyone else.
What might be actionable is the stuff I'm seeing out of the Jan 6th commission stuff.
Reading about draft executive orders and such.......The funny thing is that Dem have the panties in a wad over something that was never issued, and something that was prob never going to be issued.
Interesting.
We shall see

We will see. My bet is that Trump and his family will do some time and never run again for political office. In fact they will all wish that Trump never ran for President in the first place.

you wanna put a nice bottle of bourbon on that.
2 points.
1). No one will do any time. And I mean real time.
2). Trump is running :)

If Trump runs he will lost big time. I doubt that the GOP would even nominate him to run this next time. It would be a huge mistake.
Georgia is already getting a special grand jury in May of 2022 and they will get testimony from people that will throw Trump under the Bus. They already have audio tape of Trump trying to talk the SOS into doing illegal vote counting. That is a felony in GA.
And then there is this federal investigation:

Nothing will come of this.
Nuthin........
I won't vote for Trump in the Primaries , but he will get my nod for president if he's the nominee......PERIOD.
Unbelievable how little we expect out of politicians today.
Not too many presidents back, we made Jimmy Carter put his peanut farm into a blind trust to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.
I'll say it over and over again, we get the elected officials we deserve.

So, I understand that......AND I agree. It is a little different with a businessman who actually RUNS businesses.
Still, From documentation that I saw and stories I read.........on CNN and Money and a couple other sites, Donald Trump divested himself from nearly 400 businesses before taking office......that is GOOD enough for me.
It is not good enough for most of the EXTREMISTS out there hate the man. And yes, I say extremists. I'm concerned that we have almost guaranteed that the **** storm we call politics is never going to have any "rules".
Hell, they are STILL going after Trump.
I suspect, if we went through all the business dealings of Kennedy, Bush, Truman, Eisenhower........all of the great presidents, we would see very serious flaws.
Here is something I found from a 2017 CNN article.
[I]
President Trump says he has resigned from positions in hundreds of business entities, according to a document provided to CNN by the Trump Organization.
The text of the 19-page letter reads: "I, Donald J. Trump, hereby resign from each and every office and position I hold" in more than 400 entities listed on the following pages.
The letter is signed by Trump and dated January 19, the day before he was sworn in.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Monday that Trump's two adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, are "fully in charge of the company."
At a press conference January 11, Trump pledged to transfer his business holdings to a trust run by the sons. He refused to sell his ownership stake, a step that many ethics lawyers say is critical to avoid conflicts of interest.
