China Virus.....Man Made or Natural

Let's pull the Corona discussion out of the Ukraine biological lab discussion. It is a good one to have 2 years after corona hit our shores.

Post your thoughts and opinions....Provide Links to why you feel the way you do.

MoveOn, while I don't agree with his thoughts on it, posted compelling information, but it had a lot of holes in it....It did not sway me either way.

My thoughts are it is Man Made, and accidentally man made. Funded by US. Nothing nefarious, but our government is caught up in the "big" lie, and as always, has to lie and cheat to get out of it.

Much like the WMD discussion and the revered Colin Powell, screaming from the rooftops about WMD.....except none were found.


Proving or Dis-proving where Covid came from will be very tough, but it will require open minds, and compelling evidence.

I have seen enough to say it is man made.......

Here is a good site from fact check. It is anti-man made, but provides a lot of information as to WHY I believe it IS man made. The fact check site makes a whole lot of assumptions, and uses no peer reviewed information.

Science is Science, and they have not convinced many scientists.....IMHO.

I will say this......I cannot find very many articles recently that are about where it came from. I wonder why?

definitely man made.
i've had the flu several times in my life and was much sicker than i was with covid but the flu never gave me anxiety and depression.
i can't prove it was released intentionally but the timing sure looks suspicious.
supposedly there is a gene sequence in covid that is identical to one that moderna has a patent for.
what are the odds of that?

The fact that the genetic code can be read convinced me that it was made by nature. The gene sequences are natural and there is no evidence that the genetic code was made by man in a lab.

Remember this was done when Trump was in charge 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016. Covid started in 2019 before Biden became Present in Jan 2020. If Fauci gave money to the Chinese for GOF research into viruses it was done when Trump was our President. So it was under Trump's watch that any funding going to China was given.

I just finished reading the article in Fact check and it didn't really say anything other than to quote others. And most of that I've read before. I just don't post about this in here that much. But yesterday I did a google search on the origin of SARS CoV-2 and found a lot of articles about this subject.

Try to keep it on point........I'm glad you are finally able to admin GOF and Fauci was involved....GOF was banned in by Obama, and then re enabled by Obama before he left office. The funding for GOF was given between 2012 and 2015..

The definition of GOF is not the same as what I think you are trying to imply. The article talked about some people saying GOF but I don't believe that was the case. Other people said there was not GOF research. By GOF they mean weaponizing the virus. That was not the case.

The Fact finder page that you posted shows both sides. But most have concluded that more information is needed before making a sound decision.

THAT my friend, is GAIN of FUNCTION..........and China did it, and Wuhan did it, and other labs did it, and it was FUNDED by the United States.

Was it done to create a biological killer weapon? I doubt it. I believe it was done, trying to find "vaccine" technology capable of resolving Corona viruses in the future.

I also think we were able to fast track vaccines, because it was CREATED, and we KNEW the sequences necessary to quickly create a vaccine.

Conjecture on my part, but I bet we find out down the line this or something very similar is the case.

The research is done to learn what the virus can and can't do. I'm still leaning towards natural creation of SARS CoV-2. There is no evidence that it escaped from a lab. Now in the beginning I was thinking that the virus had maybe escaped from a lab in Wuhan simply because that is where the virus first started and that is also where they do the research in China. But after reading many articles and not finding any real evidence that it escaped from a lab I'm going to have to say it was not man made.

Common knowledge they were 'researching' virus GOF in Wuhan.

Common knowledge the disease originated in China (likely Wuhan).

Hard to believe Corona virus just mutated into a deadly strain naturally and showed up there first.

I use to think that too at first. But after reading many articles saying that the genetic code was not man made and that it was more likely of natural origin. Which made me think how does a virus form in the first place? How does our DNA create a mRNA virus?
